The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

"But she loves you, she just wants a girl right now." I said.

I laughed a bit. "I can understand that."

"Yeah."

I went behind them and started pushing them lightly.

I smiled at her and she giggled.

I looked down at them two and wondered if it would be this way when she gets better.

I smiled as she relaxed and enjoyed the swing. I was easily falling into my habit again where she became my baby. If I never had one thee that's fine, I had her and she was enough.

After they were done with the swing we took Lily to play on the play ground. She wanted to do all of the climbing herself. "oh so you just want to be a big girl today?" i laughed. "that's fine, you can be a big girl." I told her as she climbed up to the slide.

I smiled at them.

She sat down and told me to go to the bottom with Keiva to catch her.

I smiled and did.

I cheered her on as she slid down the slide. She climbed off and went back up.

I smiled at her.

After a few more slides she wanted Keiva to help her across the monkey bars.

I held her up as she pretended to go across.

I stood back and watched them, with a wide smile.

I smiled more at her excitement to get across.

After wards she wanted to swing again, this time on her own.

I went to him and sat down.

I helped her into the swing and gave her a small push.

I watched quietly.

After the swings we went over by the lake and just sat down. "Are you hungry?" I asked Keiva.

"Yeah," I said.

"okay there are a few places around here, come on." I said as I stood up.

"Alright," I said and followed him,
