The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

We walked a while until we got to the food places. "which would you like?"

I looked around. "There," I pointed.

I nodded as we headed for the small diner. Once inside I found us a table and put Lily in a booster seat.

I smiled at lily as I sat.

A waiter came and took our orders. And we sat and talked.

I was having a lot of fun. I made sure to tel him that. And it was clear k would be fine going home with him.

We ate our food and went back to the lake and played around with Lily before I had to take Kieva back to the hospital.

I had a lot of fun. It was the most I'd had since coming home.

"enjoyed yourself today?"

"I did, I don't have anymore memories but I can still get the video and remember stuff. And new memories makke things better."

I smiled brightly at her. "new memories always make things better. But right now I just want you to be happy and feel comfortable again."

"I think I am good with this. It's comfortable," I said.

"so am I." I pulled into the parking lot of the hospital.

"So you aren't afraid I'll kill you."

"I'm more curious of how this will turn out than you killing me. I believe you're past that." I told her as I got out of the car.

"Oh great, that's nicer than my thought," I said as I got out.

"it'll all be fine in the end." I told her as we made our way back to her room.

"I will be home soon," I said.

"and I can't wait."

I smiled at him. I wondered what might help my memory.

We sat in her room and watched another movie then I decided to go home. Her mom was staying tonight plus I had to get Lily back in her own bed.

I didn't want him to leave but I let him. He needed to get some real sleep in a real bed. And so did Lily.

I kissed her cheek, and left out.

My mom showed up right after he left. Her presence helped but not like his did.

I waved to her mom on my way out. I strapped Lily in her caraway and drove to my house where Daisy sat in the living room watching tv.
