The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

I let out a soft chuckle. "Have you thought about having kids one day?" I asked nervously. "I mean before the incident we never really talked about kids much, marriage yes, but children no. I'm just a bit curious." I added.

"No, but I know someday that I will want some. And my clock is still ticking for a few more years so I have time."

"at first I always said that I didn't want to have children, but after I got stuck with Lily, my mindset was changed and I kept imagining how it would be like to haave my own kids one day."

"Yeah, I knew that eventually I would ask my husband for a child," I said.

"sounds reasonable. First marriage then children."

"Yeah, and right now when I'm not around Lily all I want is to have a child running around. And then I see her and it's like she's mine for the moment and I get to play mommy for awhile," I said.

I smiled and took her hand in mine. "once you come home for good, we can live that fantasy. She loves you, and think of it as practice for when you have you're own."

I smiled. "As long as I don't live through the part where she says she hates me," I said.

"lets hope that never comes." I said as I parked the car. We got out and I carried a sleeping Lily while she grabbed everything else. We walked into the hospital and signed her back in before we went to her room.

When we got to my room I immediately was bombarded by one of the hospital managers. They were here to personally evaluate me. I answered all questions and they said from what I said they will all listen and take a vote on releasing me soon.

I stood off to the side as they asked her questions. I smiled when they were going to take a vote of releasing her soon. Now we could be a real family and no more hospitals.

I smiled as he left, seeming pleased with all the answers.

I walked over to the bed and laid Lily down and gave her her favorite Teddy bear as she slept.

I smiled as she held the bear as she slept.

"well it looks like things are moving quickly." I said with a smile.

"It would appear so," I replied.

"well now we have something to look forward to."

"We do," I said.

I smiled at her and gave her a soft kiss. I haven't really kissed her since that one time she tried kissing my cheek.

I kissed him back.

I've been holding back all day and now I just couldn't seem to handle it. I was going to deepen the kiss a bit when I felt a Teddy bear hit me in the head. I laughed as I pulled away and looked at Lily. She pretended to be asleep on the bed, but the faint smile gave her away. "alright Lily Bug I know you're awake."

We both giggled.

She let out a soft giggle before sitting up in the bed. "no kissy." she said waving her finger at us.

"Okay baby, we won't kiss anymore," I said and sat with her.

"but I will kiss you." I teased as I made my way over to Lily. She squealed and clung to Kieva so I wouldn't get to her. I just laughed and sat on the bed. "okay, okay. I won't kiss you." I told her.
