i got up after her and wrapped an arm around her waist as we walked

I didn't like the way she blushed around him but i couldn't change the fact that she loved him. i finished my plate and got on my feet "I gotta go out for a while, you guys have fun" i said and washed my plate before leaving.~james

I smiled as she blushed but said nothing. we ate in silence and than James left so i looked at the door a bit confused.~jared

I threw Jared an apologetic look before getting up and following James. "Hey are you okay?" I asked once we were outside.

I smiled and nodded "yeah i'm fine...why wouldn't i be?"~james

I stood on the top step and crossed my arms over my chest. "You didn't seem fine a few minutes ago. Did I do something wrong?" I asked in a whisper. I felt I did something to hurt him, and that's something I didn't want to do.

i thought for a moment and sighed "no you didn't...its not your fault. i need some air i'll be back in a few. go back inside he needs you more than i do."

I nodded my as I went down the stairs and hugged him tight. "Promise you'll be back?"

I hugged her back and nodded before riding my bike and leaving the driveway.

I stood there and watched as he drove off down the street. Something was telling me he wasn't okay. I just let it go and went back inside. I seen Jared was in the living room watching TV so I decided to join him.

"Is he okay?" ~jared

I shrugged my shoulders not really knowing. "He says he is, but I don't think so." I said looking at my hands. "Do you think it was something I did?" I asked him finally looking at him.

I frowned and shook my head "no i don't think so. You didn't do anything wrong"

I sighed and just laid my head on his shoulder. What was I going to do. It was unfair to James to love me so deeply when I love someone else. I know I told him how I felt but it still seemed a bit unfair. I can never be with Jared again and I have to deal with it. My new future begins with James.

A few hours later i came back home and found her asleep in his arms. I sighed and went to my room. i had made some noise getting in but didn't know if i woke someone. Maybe i should stop trying...i know she won't ever love me. I changed and laid in bed

As I slept i heard faint noises which woke me up. I looked around and seen I had fallen asleep in Jared's arms. Feeling a bit embarrassed I quietly got up and headed upstairs. I was going to my room when I heard noises coming from James room. I decided to go check on him, although I was a bit tired. I knocked on his door lightly waiting for an answer.

All day long i didn't fight or argue with Nate, it was my plan to get on his good side, and then finish him.

I heard a faint knock and went to answer the door. " hi" i said smiling faintly and walking back inside. I was packing my stuff.

"Hey." I said in a soft voice. I stepped in the room and my eyes instantly flew to his bags that were laid out. My stomach dropped and I felt like I was going to cry. I stopped and took a deep breath before continuing. "You're leaving?" I asked him, not taking my eyes off of his bags.

I sighed and sat on the bed pulling her to me. I made her sit on my lap " ash, you know how much i love you... And i know you'll never love me back. I can't do this... It hurts, i'm hurting real bad and i was going to stay so i can be near you but you don't really need me. You have jared and..."

I felt my heart break as tears began to build in my eyes. "That's not true. I will always need you too. It'll be a matter of time before Jared is off with Hellen again and where is that going to leave me? Here all alone." I shook my head and wiped away a tear that escaped. "I may not love you like you love me, but I care for you deeply. James please don't go. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable earlier, it just felt natural to respond to Jared that way because we've been together for so long. But I don't want that to stop us from having a future either." I spoke as more tears fell.

I sighed not knowing how to respond to that. if someone who didn't know how a good heart Ash has would think she's being selfish, but i knew she wasn't and i knew where she was coming from. I hugged her tightly "I'll stay but...as your friend. I won't try anything to make you fall for me. I'll just be there when you need me."

For some reason I wanted to fall for him but I couldn't understand why. I wiped away the tears smiled. "I guess I can take it." I hugged him tight.

I pulled away after a while " i didn't mean to make you cry and i didn't know it would hurt you if i leave" i got on my feet and put my bags away " i'm sorry"

I stood and wiped my face. "No, I just need to stop being a big baby all the time. I'm sorry if I put you in an awkward position. I really didn't mean to." i said shaking my head.

I faked a smile and kissed her cheek "It's okay nothing happened and... you'll keep seeing me around. but i have to go now, i got a place.A girl needed a room mate so i said i would move in tonight."

I sighed and nodded my head. "Alright. Be safe." I said with a sad smile. "I'll see you around." Before I knew what I was doing I pressed my lips to his and kissed him.
