I smiled. "I love you, I will make dinner and if I know Em she won't leave my side." I said trying to reassure him knowing why she was not to wonder around. "Did the doctor say web I'm to leave?" I say as my door flew open to Em standing there crying. She didn't even see Judd and ran straight to me. She hugged me tight. "Look I leave for a little while and you fall apart! I shouldn't if taken that job you needed me!" She all bit yelled.

I froze dead to the spot. This was her friend. "Uh you can leave baby, I'm going to head off now." I said as they hugged.

I thought that was odd. He wanted to meet Em and now he is running off. "Um okay, can I have a kiss goodbye at least before you dart off?" I say as Em let go and finally looked at Judd.

I kissed her "I love you" I whispered. I stood and looked at the woman in front of me. "Hello" I spoke, "sorry ive got to runruin."

I looked at him weirdly. "Sure you do Judd." Em spoke. "Okay what's going on here?" I say it seemed as they knew each other.

I shook my head. I wasn't going to get into it here and Em had signed a privacy agreement so she knew she was unable to speak otherwise she'd be sued and the new job she had would be gone."later" I said and left the room. Fuck this was going to be hard

I was so baffled. What the hell he and her has explaining to do. "Get dressed ill be right back okay." Em said as she ran out the room. Oh no!


"hey wait up Judd, we need to talk. Because that is my best friend in there and she has had a hard life. What we did will kill her sheets likely won't speak to both of us specially if we keep it from her and I'm sorry I know what I signed but her friendship is more to me than being sued or loosing my job and if you love her like my mother says you do then we should tell her." Em said.

I waited for Em to come back in. When she did we finally left. We stopped by her moms and got my stuff. I got my car and she followed me to Judd's. that's when I asked. "So what's up? How do you know him?" I didn't want to come out and say were you his sub? But she shook her head and cried. "I-just wait till he comes home and we will talk." Em said. We sat there forever in silence.

Deep down inside I knew that was the case. I didn't look at him. I had no reason to be mad or upset but I was. When I finally looked at him. I simply said. "The past is the past I know this. But that's my best friend, she has been there from day one in my life I mean it Judd we have been friends since we were 3. I love hr like a sister. I'm upset and I have no reason to be. But when we marry us it going to be awkward for her to be my maid of honor?" I asked seeing the shock on his face.

I looked at him. "Judd I love you. And I know you had a past I just didn't expect it to be with people I knew." I then thought if her. "I do have one question. Was your assistant a sub of yours once?" I hated saying her name. "I'm sorry to bring her up but there is something off about her."

"No. I do not mix business with pleasure, shes worked with me for the past 3 years, im keeping a close eye on her." I held her hand, "I cant fire her without a valid reason. Otherwise I would do it for you."

"I'm not asking for you to fire anyone baby, your doing what your doing and I get it. No need to explain." I say with sad eyes. I look up as Em comes in. I got up and ran to her and hugged her. I whispered I love you and she said it back. "Judd baby can we all sit and talk please?"

I nodded, "yes that is a good idea." I went and made a Scotch and sat back in my chair. "Ok im listening"

I smiled as they both sat an I stood. "I love you both and will not put up with you two not getting along. The past is the past." I looked at Em and said, "I'm pregnant, and I will be marrying Judd." She looked shocked and looked at Judd. "That's great I want you to be happy and you look truly happy with him. Mom said she has never seen you so happy." I smiled and looked at Judd. I walked over and sat on his lap. "Because I am happy." I just wish Kenzie was here. "Um Iz, you know that thing I was checking out?" I looked up as if she was reading my mind. "Yeah and Judd knows about my thoughts so its okay to say whatever it is." I say looking back at Judd I mouthed 'Kenzie'. "Well I think your right I looked into some things and it didn't add up, I think they have her somewhere. I talked to a friend and he said they most likely gave her a drug to stop her heart so Judd would think she was dead. Then gave her the counter act drug." She said and I jumped up. "I-I " and that's all I remember before waking up in the couch, to a concerned Judd and Em looking at me.

"I'm fine, really I'm fine. Baby she is alive we have to find her!" I say as calmly as I can. I just couldn't help but feel it and get excited. "Our baby girl is alive!" I say to him.

Em sat down and looked around. "Em how long you going to be in town?" I asked looking at Judd. "Oh a week maybe. I got some news, I wanted to tell you earlier, but ya you know. Cal asked me to marry him." She says as she shows me her ring. I sat up and looked at her! "Oh my! I tried to tell you he was going to! I'm so excited." I squealed. " yeah that's why I'm here is to talk weddings with mom and of course if your up to it!" I looked at Judd and pleaded. I wouldn't do it if it upset him. But this could be a big distraction.

I smiled and beckoned him over to me with my finger. As I said "Em ill see you tomorrow! But right now I need some alone time with my man." I smirked as I saw her eyes pop and she said . "Okay ill see you tomorrow! Have fun y'all!" And she darted out the door. Leaving Judd and I alone.

I looked at him and pouted. I didn't say anything I just kept pouting and then baited my eyelashes.
