The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

"Thank you," I said as I ate mine.

"welcome." I smiled and began eating my own.

I eat quietly and watch Lily.

I watched Lily try to eat her ice cream without making a mess but she wasn't doing such a good job.

I smiles and when she finished I cleaned her up.

While she cleaned Lily up I threw out trash away. "play time!"

Lily got excited and tried pulling away to play.

I laughed as Kieva struggled to clean Lily's face. I scooped her up in my arms and held her still while she wiped the rest of the ice cream from her face. The moment I put her back down, she took off for the playground.

I looked at him. "Don't you know not to do that?" I ask playfully.

I laughed and followed behind her. "I'm still getting used to it." I laughed.

"Well I can help out. I did have a younger sibling for some time," I said.

"thanks. She loves you anyway." I said as we made it to the playground.

"I am glad. Since we are dating."

I smiled at her. "although she's young, she has her own mind on who to trust." I said as we made it to the playground.

"All children do." I said.

We stood here and watched her run around with the other children. She then ran over and pulled us both over to play along.

I happily joined her.

I laughed as I joined her and played around with the kids as well.

I smiled as we played. As we played I noticed how the parents were pointing then taking their kids and leaving.

I tried to ignore the weird stares we were getting as the parents started taking their children away. Some more discreetly than others. I watch Lily run up the jungle gym to slide down the slide for the fourth time, this time on her stomach.

I was there making sure she didn't get hurt which made like 2 pare ts stay.

I stood off to the side as I watched Lily and Kieva playing around. I took my phone out and snapped a picture of them together and smiled. I couldn't wait until she was finally out of the hospital. Then we could be a real family.

I chased her a bit before catching her.

After I put my phone away I made my way over to them and started a tickle fight.

I help him tickle Lily.
