The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

We sat and watched what ever movie was still playing on the screen.

I sit quietly.

We sat there watching movies non stop. After the fourth one I saw that she was fast asleep on my shoulder. I gave a small smile and positioned us so we were more comfortable before going to sleep mysel.

I sleep in late.

The next morning I woke up and seen she was still asleep.

I woke soon.

I was in the bathroom getting washed up.

I stretched.

I walked back into the room and seen she was awake. "good morning."

I smile softly at him. "Morning," I replied.

"did you sleep well?" I asked as I kissed the top of her head.

"Yes."

Just then her doctor walked in and asked a few more questions.

I answered them.

When he left I sat in the chair. "did you want to stay in today or stop by the house?" I asked.

"I need some time but I would like to see it."

"its understandable. We can just stay here today instead of going out. Unless you'd want to."

"Well I want to see the house but I don't want to leave."

"well we can do whatever you want."

"Yeah."

{time skip a few weeks later. Couldn't think of anything say.}

It's been two weeks since I took her to the fair and the doctor has said she's been making much improvements. Vie been taking her out on dates, sometimes with just us two and others with Lily. I can see she has really been enjoying herself and although she doesn't remember everything, she has been gaining some of her memory back.

I smiled as I watched Lily playing.

We were out at the playground on one of our dates. This one was pretty simple. Just us three having fun.

I watched her quietly.

"alright beautifuls, here are your nice cream." I said as I sat down on the blanket. I gave Lily her small cup of icream and gave Kieva hers.
