The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

"alright then we'll stay." I said with a smile. "is it alright if she sleeps with you?" I asked.

"Not at all." I said with a big smile.

"good." we sat and watched the videos she had. I wondered if it was helping her memory.

I smiled at the memory.

I smiled when I saw her smile.

I let Lily sleep where she was while I watched the videos. When I was getting tired I picked her up so I wouldn't roll on her. I could fall asleep holding her.

When I seen she was getting slept I grabbed Lily's favorite Teddy bear and laid it next to them. I kissed both their foreheads before going to ask for extra blankets.

I lay there sleeping the way I use to when she was a baby. I was beginning to remember her.

I came back with a pillow and blanket for me to sleep on the couch. I saw how cute they looked laying together and it made me think of how great she would have been with Lily.

I felt better holding Lily. Something about her, she brought some memories as I sleep. He was in everyone. I remembered every moment with her by morning.

I had slept peacefully on the couch which surprised me. I was expecting to be sore when I woke up but I was just fine.

Lily and I were already awake and sat playing on the bed.

I heard giggling and looked over and seen they were playing with Lily's toys. "good morning ladies." I said with a smile. I stood and stretched before going and giving them both a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning." I smiled at him.

I went to the bathroom and freshened up before coming back out. "did y'all eat already?" I asked.

"She did." I said.

"would you likeme to go get something for you?" I asked her.

'Please?"

"what would you like?" I asked

"Surprise me."

I nodded my head before going down to the cafe to see what they had. I bought us both Subway and got a drink as well. I found Lily a few snacks to eat.

I played with her.

After I bought our food I brought it back to the room and gave her her food and drink.

"Thank you," I said and let Lily play alone in my lap while I eat.

I flipped through channels and found a nice show for us all to watch as we ate.
