The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

I wrapped my arms around her and held her close. "it's okay, it's just a dream." I said reassuringly.

I shook my head. "No, it was a memory. They chased me out of the house, and caught me in the yard. Then I was thrown into the trunk of the car." I cried.

I wasn't sure what to say so I just held her and let her cry. Glad she didn't pull away. "it's over and youre safe now." I whispered.

I felt better with at least someone here this time. My memories seem to haunt my dreams, they are cruel by hiding in them. After a few minutes I began to calm and my doctor came to see if I was alright.

When her doctor came in I stood off to the side and let him check on her

I let him go through everything, then he turned to Kevin. "Has she behaved for you today?" He asked.

I nodded my head. "yeah she's been good. We sat and talked with no distraction or interruption." I answered.

"Good, I maybe able to release you if you can prove to us that you won't attack anyone. Tomorrow you can take her to a public place to see how she reacts in a crowd. With her family too," He said.

I nodded my head. "alright. I can do that."

"Good, if anything happens call me, I'll be here as soon as I can," I said.

"yes sir." I said with a smile.

He shook his head with a slight smile and left us alone.

When he left I went and sat next to Keiva.

I looked at him.

"feeling better?" I asked.

"Yeah, thanks," I said.

"do you know where you'd like to go tomorrow?" I asked her.

"I want to go out to eat. Maybe we could just go to the mall, then I can stay in one place and not have to go all around town," I said.

"okay, I know the perfect place. We can go to your favorite mall, and there's an all you can eat place close by." I said figuring out what to do just in case things get out of hand.

"That sounds nice," I said and laid my head on his shoulder.

"what time would you like to go out?" I asked wrapping my arm around her

"Tomorrow?" I looked at him.

"yeah."

"11, that's about when I start eating lunch," I said.

"alright. I'll be here around 10 with some fresh clothes that way you can get ready." I said.
