He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

"Well, I meant just say I was still different but we both still loved each other. I think I remember loving you, but every time I touch the emotion it feels wrong. Like you belong to another girl and I'm taking you from her," I said. I didn't want to admit that but I did.

I cautiously took her handin mine, hoping she didn't lash out on me. I took a quick glance down at Lily and she sat on the bed playin with her bear. "that's because that girl somehow got destroyed when she was taken from me." I told her. "but I know she's somewhere in there."

I looked at him. This was the first time he'd gotten to touch me, and I felt bad about it. I looked away because I wasn't sure he was right. "I don't think being in a hospital will help me though, I just want to go home right now. I want to get better, but I can't if I'm here," I said.

"maybe you can talk to the doctors and see if they will allow you to leave for a few hours just to see if that helps." I suggested and let her hand go.

I looked at him sadly. "I'm too unstable to leave," I said. I looked at Lily.

"but I'm sure if they had people to help you while you're out then it could help you become stable." I said.

I shook my head. "The doctor said I'm better off locked up. He doesn't want freaking out."

"I guess you're right."

I nodded and looked at the tag on my wrist. I only thought of that word, when I wasn't thinking of other things. Before I just wanted to know why I was when I was right. But now I know why, and I wondered if I would ever be stable.

"so have you gotten the chance to look at the pictures and things the doctor gave you?" I asked

"Yeah, I did. But the ones I wanted the most were the ones to remind me of you. Once I got over what they made me thought. It was hard, but obviously I got it. Part of me wanted to blame someone on what happened, and the other part just said I shouldn't be the one focused on it. But I don't want anyone else where I am," I looked at him seriously. A look not many ever saw, and he hadn't been one to ever see it.

"and no one should have to." was my only response. I really wasn't sure what to think. After the look she gave me it was different.

"Yeah, and what made me really remember that I don't know who it was, was that memory. I don't know when or what was going on, but I think it was from our anniversary, when we made love to each other. All I remember is a bed, and hearing us exchange I love you's. I think I choice to hold a memory and that may have been the strongest one to hold onto, and one that I might use to remember us," I said.

I smiled at the thought. "let's hope you can remember more."

I nodded. "I want to unravel that memory, because it's the one that I think I thought of it to keep something of me, here." I said. I looked at Lily again. I couldn't help but stop and get lost in watching her. She was adorable. "Was she, born before that?"

I looked at Lilly and nodded my head. "she was born just a month before you were taken. You used to spoil her then, always holding her when you got the chance, never leaving her side." I said smiling at the memory, my mom died just a few days after she was born. "she'll be two in four months." I added.

I smiled. "Well I love kids, I know that," I said. "Um, we should tell the doctor about her being there. You know, living with us because I want to live with you when I get out, even if I wasn't before," I said.

"whatever it takes. And when you move in, if you're still unsure of us, I can sleep in Lily's room and you can take the master bedroom." I told her.

"No, I'll use the guest room. Technically the house belongs to you, until things are closer to normal." I said.

I shook my head. "but I bought it for you, so it's your house. I'm just there keeping it cozy for you." I said in an attempt make her laugh.

I smiled, but didn't laugh. "Well, that's nice of you," I said.

Not the reaction that I wanted but it was something. "so what do you want to do now?" I asked.

"All I can do is talk, until they allow me to be released. As long as I don't attack you, I hear Friday is my favorite day," I said. "Will they let someone stay the night now? I'm having trouble with being alone at night here," I said and looked away.

"it's worth a shot. I'll see what strings I can pull to get them to let someone stay." I told her.

"Alright, my brother probably heard and told you my break down last night when he left," I said.
