The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

"Aren't you staying with me tonight?" I looked at him.

I nodded my head. "I am, but I'm going to leave early to go change and bring you some clothes."

"Okay, just so you know, I can get up and down from the bed so I don't need you to help me change," I looked at him seriously.

I held my hands up in surrender. "okay, I won't help you."

"Better not," I said.

"so what they dont give you any games to play or something?" I asked looking around.

"That's what visitors are for. Entertainment. I have movies, and they have cable too," I said.

I laughed. "alright then, want to watch a movie then?" I asked.

"Sure," I said and turned the TV on.

I climbed into the bed next to her and got comfortable as she found us a movie to watch.

I moved over so he could have his space, but I still had to lay on him a little. I flipped through until we found a movie. Then I started trying to move so he was more comfortable.

"are you okay?" I asked when I noticed she kept moving around.

"making room for you," I said.

"I'm comfortable, are you?" I asked repositioning myself once more before I settled.

"I just thought you wouldn't want me to lay on you."

"if that's what makes you comfortable then go ahead. I don't mind." I said with a small laugh

I nodded and stopped shifting around.

"better?" I asked looking and her.

"Yeah, as long as you're okay," I said.

"I'm fine." I said with a smile

"Okay," I said.

We sat there's comfortably and watched the movie.

I watched quietly.

It was a good movie but I couldnt help but let my mind wonder to all the times we curled up on the couch and watched movie after movie.

I began to fall asleep. I leaned on him without thinking about it.
