In this world, there is a lot of ordinary. Meaning ordinary people and ordinary jobs and ordinary life. Then there's those who are secretly extraordinary, like my family. Six kids and my mom and dad. Im a middle child and literally forgotten. Like every night. Mom swears it has nothing to do with my lack of powers, but how else can you explain her forgetting to make me a meal every single day? Oh and forgetting my birthday, and if it weren't for the others Christmas. They always do last minute stuff for me or it's too late. My super doctor has told me I may be a late bloomer. Or I might not ever obtain any powers. I was odd enough but I didn't want to be anymore exiled than I was.

Then my beautiful sisters all easily find a boyfriend at 13, here I am at 16 and nothing. I can't get anyone to notice me at all. No matter how I try it never works. We go to a super hero school like in that movie sky high, and im practically invisible. So im also the black sheep at school. The only place im noticed is the music center, where I sing to any track or make a mash up with my voice. Will I ever be accepted as someone at home and school?

I followed her,"Hey now you never know."

I shrugged. "I prefer not to believe in too many good things because when I do they never seem to go the way I want. I end up with nothing more than I have now. I could hope to fit in somewhere and be noticeable in other places besides the music center," I said as I grabbed my things from my locker.

"You go to the music center?"I asked,smiling slightly.

I nodded. "I love to go there because people know me. My music speaks out for me when I can't," I said honestly.

I nodded and smiled,"It's a cool place,"I agreed softly.

"Yeah, but the thing is, no one really knows me. The name I chose for myself as an artist is Twila, preferably because I like darkness. I just choose to hide it because I can't use it to hide here," I said softly.

I nodded and looked around,"It's kind of hard to hide here... "I sighed and shifted slightly,"I'll see you around yeah?"I asked as the first bell rang.

"Maybe, if you choose to see me when I am not singing," I said and walked to my first class quietly.

I smiled and walked to my first class.

I sat down and waited for the class to begin.

I sat down in the back row,taking my notebook out I flipped to a new page and began to doodle.

I started writing in a book. This book contained many songs I had written. All of them had meaning to me, never just a song so I could have one.

I started to draw someone's face until I realized it was her face,looking at the drawing I smiled lightly.

I wrote honestly until the class began officially, at that time I quickly closed the book so I could pay attention. I did this through all classes before lunch. I wasn't given much trouble, until I got in the line so I could go in and sit. I was just 3 people from the door when one of my bullies came up behind me and snatched my book. "Let's see what the ghost wrote today," he said as he held it above my reach and angled it so he could read.

I was walking with my head phones in my ears when I saw the scene,raising an eye brow I stalked towards them,"We have a problem here?"

"Back off kid. This isn't your business," he replied as he threw the book to his friend and some papers fell. Actually, all pages fell. The book had been torn apart from the force of the throw. I got on the floor rushing to pick it up, cursing super strength silently.

I stepped closer to him,"It will be my business if you ever touch her or her things again,"I threatened.

He looked at Owen then. "And why is some powerless little girl mean anything to you? She's nothing,even in her own family," he said. I looked up at him. "Well I must mean something to you if I don't have to blink for attention. Or maybe it's just your low self-esteem that causes you to need to put someone powerless against you down just so you feel big," I said hoping to make him back off. His speedy friend was behind me and took my hair and pulled it so I was forced to look up.

"You're going to regret those words," his friend said. "Crony doing your dirty work. Pathetic," I said and spit in the Guy's face.

He slammed my head against the wall.

Owen didn't blink as he set the guy's cloths on fire before looking at the other two,"Who's next?"he asked.

The guy screamed and ran and the others followed. I rubbed the back of my head but otherwise I was alright. I sighed and began to gather the papers again.

I helped her gather them before handing them to her.

"Thank you Owen. They normally aren't so violent, I guess my guess about him having a little crush on me hit him hard though. I can't come up with a reason for him to notice me otherwise," I said as I stood with my stuff.

I smirked slightly but nodded,"Maybe he's handling it kind of... weirdly?"I said as I walked with her.

I nodded at him. "All people handle things differently. Just imagine how he will handle me denying him," I said honestly.

I chuckled slightly,"Probably stomp his feet like he does with mommy and daddy,"I smirked.
