"you ready?" I aks as i finish gearing up

"Yeah," I said.

I nod as we head to the cortyard

I follow him quietly.

I climb up into drakos saddle and help you up drako grabs lyra in his mouth and we take off heading in the direction my spaud should be returning to the palace and the city surounding it

Lyra made no objections, or at least she made no sounds to suggest it. Not that I would notice anyways. Since I am deaf I wouldn't know if she was disturbed unless she was wiggling.

We fly for a good 3 hours before i have drako land in a distant clearing. and i hop down from drako. "this is one of the places they wpuld have landed to rest but looks like they never made it" i say as i kneel down checking the ground

"It would appear that way." I preferring to stay where I was feeling a little nervous despite all the protection. Lyra looked at me from where Drako set her down but she stayed so it wouldn't be hard for a dragon to grab her in case we had to leave.

The 2 dragon riders landed shortly after reporting the same that noone has been here in over 2 months and i jump back on drako and he grabs lyra. "wel keep traveling the route till we find some signs of battle or camp." I said and all 3 of us take off

I just nodded quietly.

We fly around for a good 3 hours every now and then landing at camping grounds that havent been touched in awile

I wasn't getting a good feeling, each time we landed I staid with Drako. I only got off a few times to walk.

The last time we landed i got off and search the fire pit while another looks around the grass. "looks like there was a battle here" she announces and i nod. "and it looks recent like within the last 3 days recent." I nod and look at the other rider. "go look for anything within the next 10 miles heading to the city report anything you find and if you run into trouble do not take it on your own have your dragon report directly to mine as soon as your done

I look around quietly, Lyra walking beside me.

He nods and takes off woth his dragon i look around amd sigh softly. "any sogns as to who attacked" i asked and she shakes her head

I keep looking around quietly.

I sigh softly as i look around and say a couple spells to detect life. And find nothing in the area except us

I pet Lyra quietly.

I look up to c the other rider return and he shouts "no signs of landing or even a crash they must have burned everything when they went back but theres no sign f blood trails or draging of bodys id say it was the dark elves only they are this thurough." I nodded and climbed back on drako. "lets go mylady. Wel search the area for another hour then head home" i said loudly and the riders nod

I nod and get back on Drako before we left.

"i have a feeling they are either dead or chaptured behind enemy territory" i say to everyone as i help strap you into the saddle not sure what will happen

I said nothing but s soft thanks. I didn't think that this was my area to speak.

"everyone saddle up we are heading home to start a search party i wish i could join but i gta stay with our lady till the crowning cerimony. So im putting you 2 in charge round up the best rangers and trackers and have them set out my orders." They nod and i climb up into the saddle as do both of them and we take off but not 5 minutes into the air a black bolt flies out from the trees and drako just blocks it from the air

I looked around nervously.

I grabed the bolt from the air after drako blocked it and yelled out. "lets go take the long way home so that we lose them so we dnt lead them home" as drako flys hard in the direction we came tohelp lose the drow.
