When she was a baby her country went to war. To protect her, her father called the program to take her. She was only 5 months old. The man who rescued her was married and hadn't been able to give his wife a child. So now he could. He took her in and raised her as a normal girl, with no knowledge of her real parents or that she was a princess, just that she's adopted. Then a very strange boy comes to school and says her name before asking it. Then he asks her to come home with him. Upon further knowledge she finds out who she is and she's his betrothed. Her country is slowly following apart. So will she go to the home she never knew? And she learns a secret that her parents didn't know, she is a fea.

I continued for a long time. Time that seemed much longer than any song you ever heard. It seemed that years had passed once I finally ceased in my song, the baby inside the egg fully asleep. I gently placed it back in it's nest and sang another song. I did this to put mysef to sleep. And it had to be a sad song. Not any other would work.

I dont sleep at all that night forcing myself.to train and keep pushing myself.harder and harder so.that i could eventually heal her and drako pulls.his.mind away from.mine so that he could sleep.but keeps.enuf of.a.conection so.that he can lend me.strength if i push myself.2 hard

I fell asleep with only a few tears shed. When I woke I worked with my egg again. I could see if it lived until next week it would hatch for me. I just had to keep working.

Thruout the.morning i kept.pushing.myself.and drako stays close to you keeping an eye on yu for.me and about.mid.morning i collapse from exaustion and drako stirs getting up.quickly to.get out of the room

I didn't see him leave. Feeling insane I talked to the egg, telling it about me.

He pocks me.up and takrs.me.back to.your room and moves.directly nfront of you as he lays me down on the floor and finally decides to talk.to you thru his.mind to.yours. "i hate to bother you but i need your help my lady" he says to you not exactly sure how to tell.you bout what i did last night

"I know, he blames himself for the hearing problem. He's upset because you can't fix it no matter what you do and he spent all night in the training room pushing himself. I could feel it, it kept my rest from me." I said.

"i wouod watch over him but we are soon due for the funeral its gana be helpld late this afternoon thankfully so it will give him time to rest but i need to kake sure things are going as planed as far as setting it up...will yu please watch over him and make sure he gets rest." He asks as he manuvers me onto the bed

"Of course, it's my job to care for him," I said. I pet drako lightly on the nose. "You have done good but now it is my turn."

He nods and sighs softly accidently sending a puff of smoke up from his nose "thank yiu my lady" he says as he sends you a feeling of warmth and gratitude before he turns to reluctantly leave and before he takes off he looks back at both of us and you can tell hes worried.

I looked at him worriedly as well. I put my egg down then lay next to him.

He sighs one last time and takes off into the air and i stir slightky but stay asleep tossing and turning everynow and then from a bad nightmare.

I watch Ich worry. I begin singing the song hoping he would rest.

As i hear the song my mind starts to settle alittle and i start going back into a deep untroubled sleep and sleep for a very long time.

I lay with him occasionally singing the song just to keep him calm.

Drako returned about a half hour before we needed to get ready and i wake up slowly right before he lands in the room and i look around confused saying. "where am i?" As i wake up more

I sit up but didn't realize he spoke. I got up to check on the egg before looking for the dress. Having a moment where I didn't remember whereit was.

I sigh softly as i watch you and rememberd you cnt hear and thay i must have passed out on the training field and drako must have brought me here ti her room and depression sets in bc i realize i cant do anything to help you and i look down at my hands feeling useless for once in my life

I find it and go change. When I come out I see your sad look so I go over and sit in front of you. I take one of your hands but say nothing. I just give you a look that says everything without me having to.

I bite my lower lip as i lean in and kiss yiu forcing back tears and just feeling horible and i softly wisper. "all this power and i cnt do a damn thing to help you....the only woman i habe ever loved" as i look into your beautiful eyes and face.

I signed and talked slowly,"I don't want to be helped. I have been deaf since I was four. I want to be different to make a point."

"what is that?" I asked trying to keep the bitterness for myself and my first biggest failure since i started training so long ago and feeling like a kid all ovrr again as intry tonforce myself to calm down and be brave enuf to weather this storm.

"That hearing, not hearing, rich, or not, we are the same. Our personality defines us, not our birth or looks or skills."

I nodded slowly amnd sigh softly not exactly sure what to say but still feel hornible bc of me feeling useless

I kissed his cheek. "You can be sad for now but I'll lock you out if you mope later. I don't want to cry over the spilled milk that I can't clean up," I said.
