When she was a baby her country went to war. To protect her, her father called the program to take her. She was only 5 months old. The man who rescued her was married and hadn't been able to give his wife a child. So now he could. He took her in and raised her as a normal girl, with no knowledge of her real parents or that she was a princess, just that she's adopted. Then a very strange boy comes to school and says her name before asking it. Then he asks her to come home with him. Upon further knowledge she finds out who she is and she's his betrothed. Her country is slowly following apart. So will she go to the home she never knew? And she learns a secret that her parents didn't know, she is a fea.

I nodded and sighed softly "its unavoidable.these days i.guess. I hope.things will get better over time" i said and rested.my hand on yours

well lets gpo c the healer and c what she can do for you and maybe with me and drakos help we can heal watever dammage is done" i said as i stand up from the table

"Alright." I said and followed him.

I smiled as i.lead us to an herb garden and c the old healer working in it. "how may i help you young ones." She says more as a statement than a question. "we are here dear one to.c if you can bring back our queens hearong and heal whatever may be ailing her as far as her hearing." I said and she nods slemnly as she looks at.you and finally says, "follow me to.my cottage then."

I nod and follow silently.

"wel do.what we can to heal you young lady. It.may not be perfect but it woll be betterr than you were before." She says as she enter her small.cottage.

I sit as she asked.

She sighs softly as she sits down. and starts.using her magic as she gently uses it to prod and c how.bad whatever is blocking your hearing rele.is and soghs softly again "the scars and wounds are.very deep and have already healed over i fear there is nothing we can do to.help her my young lord." I was looking. At the floor so I didn't need to read the news I expected. Iknew ebefore he did that without my hearing aid I would never hear again. I would let him learn this on his own.

I sigh aoftly as i look a way and slam.my fist into a table "i wont give up...i cnt give up..."i say feeling angry and feeling.like i failed you somehow and quickly close myself up even to drako and push all my feelings down inside myself.

I looked at him. He showed my father's reaction and it scared me. Not being able to hear him made it harder not to be afraid of things. Now I had to be extra careful everywhere I go. I decided to go back to my room on my own. It wasn't hard to find and amazingly he didn't stop me.

The old woman sighs softly.as she looks at.me. "you are a fool you no that. There is nothing that can be done for.her not unless the dragon ancients will it and even then still.very dangerous." She says in a sad voice and i just look at her for a.moment before finally saying. "even if i have to invoke.them i will.find a way to heal.her." I say a.d leave for the training yard and stay there for a very long time nit even coming up for dinner or even to go to bed.

I didn't go down for dinner either, I didn't know where the kitchen was and I couldn't hear a knock. Instead of crying, I I sat with my egg. It kept trying hard to hatch for me, but I soothed it to stop so it wouldn't get hurt before hatching. I sang softly and had I been able to hear I would've noticed the silence that fell over the castle as I sang.

I keep beating my sword into the training dummy thinking about how i could do so much but couldnt do a damned thing for the woman i loved and drako decides tk.stay away from.me tonight letting.me vent and ends up going to you and softly perches at the entrance and sighs loudly and closes his eyes for a.few.minutes

I hardly noticed him as I continued the song my mom sang to calm me down when I cried.
