When she was a baby her country went to war. To protect her, her father called the program to take her. She was only 5 months old. The man who rescued her was married and hadn't been able to give his wife a child. So now he could. He took her in and raised her as a normal girl, with no knowledge of her real parents or that she was a princess, just that she's adopted. Then a very strange boy comes to school and says her name before asking it. Then he asks her to come home with him. Upon further knowledge she finds out who she is and she's his betrothed. Her country is slowly following apart. So will she go to the home she never knew? And she learns a secret that her parents didn't know, she is a fea.

I nod and sigh aoftly. "yea plus ingta get ready for the funeral. how much time do we have yet drako?" I ask out loud "you got 30 mins before we need to be thrre younbetter go get dressed. Amd il give you both a ride down to the funeral." He says to both of us. And i kiss you lightly before getting my own funeral uniform on and come back a bit calmer with my sword on my back and cerimonial sword on my hip.

"You can talk for me, and tell me when someone wants me." I said as he came in the room.

I nodded and softly take your hand. "i guess if im gana be talking for you it will probably be best if we talk thru our minds for the duration ofn th e funeral." I say and smile softly. "that way you dnt have a million ppl prodding in your mind and most private parts of it just tontell younwhat their trying to say." I say as i climb up on drako and offer my hand tonhelp you up

I nodded and climbed up. "It would only make things worse for me."

"my thoughts exactly. Thats y we need to come up with a way tontalk to you and i need to teach you to learn how to close your kind against mental attack as well as mental probing." I say as i help strap you down even tho its gana be a short easy journey and i strap myself in as drako takes off and flys to the funeral.

"Okay, can you shield me must for tonight? I will be better at all of this stuff."

"i cannot shield you unfortunatly but your dragon could when its old enuf. Only you can shield yourself. The easiest way is to think of a strong memory something powerful and has meaning to you but nothing so significant that it will give your enemy the information they want. These ppl are gana be testing you here at the funeral to c how well addapted you are. And i will try my best tonwarn you before i enter your kind to talk to you." I say as drako flys for alittle gliding gently in the air currents givving me enuf time to try and help you as best i can before the funeral.

"Okay, so be an airhead. That won't be too hard." I smiled hoping he'd laugh.

I do laugh alittle and smile. "basically yes im gana have to get u used to feeling when sumone is trying to enter your mind as well as nowing how to keep your mind open enuf that youncan sense any hostility but that will be tomorro. Drako take us down please." I say and he angles off to the left and lands gently behind a huge group of ppl dressed like we are.

I unstrap myself and get down with hiss help. No one seemed to notice us but I prefer that.

"you want me to stay with you wile this is going on my lady" i ask concerned noing that me and drako are all you have as far as close friends

I offer my arm to you as drako moves tonthe front row next to where we would sit and but curls his taol around him so it doesnt move and i skile softly at him

I take his arm getting a nervous look that also looked sad.

i slowly walk you to your father letting you c him one last time before we go to sit down and you notice all the dragon riders are dressed the same as i am with their battle sword either strapped to one hip with there cerim0onial sword on the other or there battle sword strapped to their backs and cerimonial sword strapped to their hips and dragons all in the back behind everyone else all except drako who sat calmly and patiently next to us

I looked around quietly as we walked and sat. I saw mouths moving and pointing, different motions that would conceive a sound. None of which did my ears hear. No vibrations met me like they should, so I looked down.

"hey keepnyour head up you need tonshownthem thatbyoundo not fear them but you respect them otherwise they will trynand take advantage of the new queen bc they will think youbare weak and week you are not i no you arnt." I say in your mind as i c u lower your head out ofnthe corner of my eye. Before we sitndown.

"I would rather not provoke a conversation because I was staring. Humans take offense to anyone who stares too long and I have been hit before because I did not realize he was speaking to me," I replied as we sat. I did look up but avoided looking at them too directly.

I nodded and sighed and finally a priest came in and told the cerman and read all the things he needed to read tonbless the body and send the king on his way to the stars. And then he steps down about an hour later and i get up a few mins later to say everything i needed to on your behalf. And stand in front of everyone for a minute or 2 and sigh softly "ladys and genteman and great dragons. I come upnhere on our soon to be queens behalf to say a few words." I say as i look around slowly and finally end at you and smile softly "the king was a man of great honor and pride in thisnkingdom and put all his life into it. His life tho has been taken from us was the best years wev had so far here in this city or kingdom however you want to c it. But he was also a great warrior one ofnthe hest infact. And challenged us all to become better and stronger. A very wise man he was and i know that his daughter will carry this kingdom into just as fine years. If not better. And hopefully with her here we can finally end thisnwar and move onnto a golden ahlge under her rule." I say with a smile

I step down and sigh softly as several others take my place before they lower him into the ground and i sigh aoftly as i grab your hand in mine and softly queeze before 5 dragin riders step forward and cover his grave with earth and stone. And the rest of the procession goes ti where a bunch of tall tents are waiting for us all.

I held onto his hand wanting to cry but I couldn't. I only talked to him once for an hour, there's no real ties to him.

I touch your.mind ocfering reasurance and send you thru our still linked minds. "lets.go we are due at the head of the table." I say as i get up.slowly

Drako rises slowly and follows behind us and gently bumps.your shoulder as he looks at us with one eye wile still watching where hes going with the other and i cnt help but smile at him.
