I smiled happily.

After we were done we headed back to the hotel.

I smiled at him as we drove.

"Tonight was great." I said with a wide smile.

"The best!"

When we got to the room I went to the bed and collapsed onto it. "I can honestly say I had a great day. Everything was just different."

I laid on his back. "Really? And what made it different?"

"being far away from home and actually getting a chance to spend time with you outside the house." I said. "I hadn't realized how much I kept us locked away in the house until a few weeks ago. Here you have been with me for months and the only place I took you was to a party."

"Well I did run into spoke trouble there. I imagined you were afraid of letting me get hurt, and you did take me out and to get kitty stuff.

"yeah, but you haven't actually been out like we were today."

"I don't mind. As long as it's us."

"good." Persephone then jumped on the bed and rubbed against us both before settling into a spot on the bed.

I pet her with a smile.

I finally yawned as I pet her. "I'm getting tired now, and if I lay here any longer I won't be able to get up." I said jokingly.

"You already can't get up."

"you're right I can't." I said as I did my best to turn over and hold you in my arms,

I lifted just a little so he could move, then rested on his chest.

"this is better." I said getting comfortable.

"Yeah, I love this."

"I think we should put on our pajamas before we get too comfortable."

"Too late," I said but got up and changed.

I forced myself up and changed into my pajamas.

I smiled when he was done. I hugged him.

I hugged her back and kissed her forehead.

"Now let's sleep baby," I said.
