Everyone worries what their friends really think about them or if they are really their friends. But Kenzie never has, for awhile it was just a feeling she got from a person. But at age 13 her mother said her eyes turned yellow with slitted pupils. When her mom pointed it out she said she could tell that the person was not a nice person at all so they didn't do anything about it. But with these eyes she can basically see your soul, she can see your good and bad intentions and if there's any hidden talents about you. If so, your intentions will be hidden, but she can still feel that tug if something is wrong.

I hugged her. "Don't worry, my brother will sign out for custody of you as well. That was his words." I said. He was actually signing those papers now. He brought out some money to pay bail. "Well, my brother was quick tonight."

"But I don't want you guy to spend all your money on us." I said softly, still crying.

"I need a bucket." I groaned softly. "Fast." I added. They quickly handed me a bucket and I threw up blood inside of it.

"Don't worry. This is worth it." I said. My brother texted me to get a healer. I called another kid and told them to come. They got here a few minutes later and followed my brother.

"Can someone *cough hard* please uncuff me? This is *coughs harder* really not helping with the broken collar bone and wrist." I said going into another fit of coughing, blood splattering everywhere. Finally someone uncuffed me and helped me move my arms in the right direction. "It was self defince okay? I look worse then they do! I have knife wounds to show you that *coughs again* they abuse me!" I said coughing extremely hard unable to stop.

I nodded and waited crying.

R: I walked in. "Shade. You sister called Kisa, they're waiting, don't worry about explaining to them. You and your sister will stay with us as long as you like. And we have someone to take care of your wounds." The girl walked over and grabbed his hand tightly so she could heal him. "SOme wounds will stay, like your eyes. Others will heal." She told him.

"Like my ribs?" I asked, "And collar bone?" I said again. "And wrist?"

R: She nods. It took her half an hhour to get it all but she let go and left. "Alright, let's go." I helped him up and led him to where the girls waited.
K: I smiled at Shade despite how bad he looked. "Here he is." I said to Star. "Told you I'd help you out." I said to him.

"SHADE!!!!" I screamed and threw my arms around him.

"Ohhh Star!" I said softly hugging her tightly.

"DONT SCARE ME LIE THAT!!!" Star yelled sobbing.

I sat back until they let go. Riosaki and I let them talk for a bit as we led them to the car. I turned to them once we were half way home. "Did you guys eat? I was serving dinner when I got the call." I said. It just shows that I'd drop everything to help.

"YES!" Star said eagerly.

"Sorry about that." I said softly.

"Not a problem. I told you, you ever need me call. And I'm going to let you rot in jail or her sit out in the cold. I've been taking care of my brothers since I was 11 so I've become rather mothering to people." I said. They hadn't seen all of me yet.

"But their like...20..." I said motioning to her brother.

"Shhhh...I've gotta headache." I said petting my sister...she was kinda loud.

"They weren't when mom went in the hospital. Someone had to step up and fill in for her at that moment. So I did. Tatsuya only just got out of high school last summer and he's the one that was the closest so I helped him a lot. He's also loud at home." I said. He'd be shouting when we got there.

I smiled and nodded. "Thank you so much for taking coustody of us...and bailing me out...in my defence they started it!" I said. "And by any chance could you make Tatsuya be a little quite until I get something for this mager headach?" I asked with an apologetic smile.

"I was going to give you some pills when we got there. I'll just take his video game away until your good." I texted Tatsuya and told him he better not be playing a video game when I got home. He texted Y and a frowning face. I replied, Shade has a headache and he has to stay with us so no complaining. I got T_T as a reply.

"Yeah...sorry I feel like I'm introuding." I said softly.

"It's alright. We do this often, but not for a more permanent stay." I said. We arrived home and we got out. "Alright, you can take Tylenol right?" I asked as I went to the kitchen and searched through the medicine.

"Yeah...and i swear ill pay you back once i get a job and get the money." I said softly.

"Don't worry about it. We make you do petty things, like that healer. The amount you make us save by doing something like that is what we take out of your debt." I said. I got him some pills and handed him two and a cup of water. I went and made four plates of pasta. "Hope you like pasta." I said. I realized they were still wearing shoes, would've freaked but I was too. "Oops, I forgot my slippers." I said. I set the table then went to the entrance and switched.

I looked confused. "What?" I asked looking down at my feet.

I had already taken off my shoes...i didnt have slippers so i just wemt bare footed

"It's a japanese custom. It's funny cause when you go to buy a house in japan the house comes with free slippers! We have some extras. It keeps the floors clean and I forgot to tell you." I said as I looked at his shoes. He tracked in some mud and other stuff that he had thrown up and not noticed. I ignored it. "I'll clean up after we eat." I said and went to the table.

I nodded and took off my combat boots and put them on. "I feel like a pussy...no offence." I said rubbing my face and licked my lip.

"Well, slippers aren't required but no shoes in the house." I said like a mom would. I only did it because my mom taught me to and I missed her that much to respect it.

"Okay then no slippers." I said and took them off.

I nodded. "Wash your hands before you eat." I said. I was probably getting annoying but it might be better than what he's use to.
