Fallen Angel (1x1 Me and Nite Time Lover)

What would you do with a fallen angel? Would you give her to the government or fall in love with her? I dont think your girlfriend would like that last bit much, but hey, what can you do?

After awhile it began a little scary. Some of the guys, well actually, all but two had left. These two were persistent and had enough courage to ask me to do something that was completely absurd. I said no very sternly and started to walk away. One of them caught my wrist and I began pulling away. "Leave me alone." I said.

Me and Mike staid in the back and continued to discuss business. I checked the time and seen we had been back their for nearly two hours. I had forgotten all about Risa. "Alright man, well I have to go check on my cousin, kind of left her alone unattended." He dapped my up and made out way to the front. We noticed everyone was starting to go home. I walked around trying to find Risa, but was unsuccessful. I felt a little uneasy about this whole situation. I circled back through the house and went to the den. I seen two guys trying to get at her. One grabbed her arm and tried to pull her towards her. "She said leave her a lone." I said with anger building. Clearly these two had way too much to drink and was feeling themselves a little too much.

They looked at him. "It's none of your business so get lost." The one holding my wrist said and his grip tightened and began to hurt. "Let me go." I said and pulled, but I wasn't going to be successful because I wasn't about to hurt anyonne.

I stepped closer as I glared at them with menacing eyes. "It has everything to do with me when that's my cousin. Now either you get your hands off her or I break your hand. Which would you like?" I asked as I stood close to him ready to strike.

He looked at him. His friend says, "Let;s go, the b!tch's not worth it." The guy nodded and they started to leave. "Thanks."

I looked back at her and seen how shaken up she was. "Sorry I left you a lone for so long." I pulled her into a hug and held her tight. "Come on let's get out of here." I led her to the front door and out to the car. I made a mental note to come back and deal with those two later. There were advantages with being a fallen Angel. I could tell people's true colors when they got drunk, and the two that were bothering Risa were demons. I'm not sure if she saw it or not but they were. They just didn't have enough time to fully form yet.

I followed quietly. I noticed a strange light around them that I didn't really understand. It was the same color as a demons, but it wasn't as large as I was use to. I guess they were still young. I kept holding my wrist because it burned where he touched me and was bruising.

I kept a sharp eye out for any one else that would be a potential threat to her, or me. Everyone eyes me with caution. They knew when I got upset to not mess with me. I got Risa to the car with no problem and I helped her in. I noticed she was holding her wrist. "Let me see." I said a bit more calmly.

I let him look at it. I figured he knew more about this than I did. Now I unedrstood why I still had 3 centuries left before I got to come here. Preparing for that takes a while, but I think I'll get it quickly here.

I took a look at her wrist and seen that it was slowly starting to bruise. "Does it hurt?" I asked as I started the car.

"A little, it feels like a burn more than a bruise." I said.

I nodded my head. "Okay, I'll get you something to put over it."

"Thank you." I said and let it lay in my lap. I didn't understand what had just happened, all I knew was something dangerous had gone on and something would've hurt if he hadn't come to check on me. But my instincts told me I was pretty good at that, I knew enough to try and get away from them.

"They didn't do anything else did they?" I asked driving down the street.

"No, they offered me drinks that I declined. They followed me around, and said nasty things to me, then they started that." I said. "I did my best to get away but they were persistent, and I'm not built for a strong body."

"Good. Hopefully next time we go out--if we go out--you'll have a better understanding of what to do." I pulled up to a red light and looked at her. "Besides those two harassing you, did you enjoy the party?"

I nodded. "Everyone was eager to talk to me, but I didn't let it slip I'm an Angel. They were all just talking, but I had to switch topics when they went in depth with something." I said.

"What would that be?" I asked curiously.

"Just about anything."

I nodded my head and continued to drive. "Was there anything about the party or the people that you didn't understand or want to know more about?" I asked her as I turned the corner and headed down the street towards my house.

I sat quietly looking out the window like I was ignoring the question. I was thinking about it deeply and he nearly repeated the question when I said no.

I took a quick glance her way but said nothing. I pulled into the drive way and shut the engine off. "Alright we're here. You can get changed while I get the stuff for your wrist." I said finally looking at her.

I nodded. I went inside and got my other clothes to change into. I walked into the living room.

I followed her inside and got the bandages and other things she would need for her wrist. I was getting everything together when she walked into the living room. "Come sit."

I nodded and sat next to him.
