i got up after her and wrapped an arm around her waist as we walked

i saw jared and hellen come out of the car i said hi to both of them~james

"Hey" i said to James smiling.

"hi hellen" i smiled at her and looked at jared "jared"

"hi man" i looked at the kids "going somewhere?" ~jared

"yeah its my last day here so we're going to the park just waiting ash to come. wanna come?"

I finished the last sandwich and placed it into their lunch boxes. Once I made sure everything was set I grabbed their bags and walked out the door to see Jared and Hellen. "Oh, hi guys." I said with a smile.

"hi sweetie, you're ok?" i said smiling~jared

It warmed my heart to know that he still cared about me. "As good as I'll get." I shrugged. I gave the kids their lunch bags. "Just gotta enjoy the time while I still have it. Will you two be joining us?" I stood next to James and wrapped an arm around his waist.

I smiled at Ash as she came out, she looked beautiful like always i tought.

i smiled and nodded "yeah we came to spend time with you guys so what the harm in it. and we were planning on going to the lake this afternoon you guys wanna come?"~jared

i smiled as ash wrapped her arm around me i kissed her forehead lightly "yeah i guess we can, only if the kids want to"

Without eve asking the kids were jumping around in excitement. "Looks like they'll have more fun than we are." I joked. "The lake sounds good to me. But first to the park."

i nodded "okay than we'll go"~james

I couldnt help but smile brightly. I didnt want Jared to be distant from his family because of me, i was glad everything was going great for him and Ash.

I smiled as we all began heading towards the park. I couldn't help but noticed how happy Jared was with Hellen. Maybe I was just being selfish in the beginning, but with the few months that passed I've grown to accept what has happened and I'm grateful everything is still going okay.

i took austin on my shoulders and walked looking at eliza avoiding me again~jared

i smiled at eliza and took her hand "you don't miss jay?"

Eliza was still upset that Jay is never around as much any more. She hasn't really forgiven him for leaving Ashliey and making her sad. Austin has tried talking to her, and telling her that he was still her big brother and nothing will ever change that. But she just couldn't. While they walked towards the park she staid close to James and made sure not to say anything to Jared. When James took her hand she looked up at him with sad eyes. She stopped and asked him to pick her up. When he did she told him that she missed Jared a lot but she was still made at him.

James kissed her cheek and smiled "he misses you more than you can ever think and i think he's back just for you. you are his everything, he might be a bad brother sometimes but he loves you and when i leave you are going to need him around so i say you go and hug him right now maybe even kick his foot" i smiled at her and winked

Eliza giggled softly and said that she would hug him when they got to the park.

james nodded knowing that jared could hear every word they said. he looked at him and saw him smiling

The park was filled with parents and their kids running around, i looked around smiling.

When we got to the park Austin and Eliza ran for the jungle gym joing the crowd of children that were already there. I smiled and went to the swings and sat on an empty one.

jared looked at hellen "i think if you want to talk to her now is the time"

I gave him a nod giving him a small smile "lets hope things go fine" i said as i made my way towards Ash.

I was deep in thought looking off into the horizon, not paying much attention to thoes around me. My thoughts were interrupted by Helen. I looked at her and gave her a friendly smile. "Hello Helen."

"Hi" i said smiling back at her. "I was wondering if we could talk"
