I’m almost ten years older than her! But that isn’t the only reason I should want her, she is my best mates younger sister! I’ve known her my whole life! It wasn’t until I convinced rob to join the marines with me and we came back for her 18th birthday that I saw her in a new way. Then once again when their parents died in the unexpected car crash when I really screwed up. I was drunk and kissed her one thing lead to another and when I woke alone I thought I dreamed it. But I know I didn’t I couldn’t of. She left for college that day and well rob and I went back to our duties. After getting a honorary discharge 5 years later, I’m back home but rob is still fighting over seas. I haven’t seen or heard from her the last thing rob said was she was dating some asshat.

What happens when I see her again but she isn’t alone she has a child about 4 years old.she has sad eyes and looks scared.

I smiled. “One day yes when she is ready to be my wife I’d love for her to be.” I loved that he said she loved me. “I love and care for your mama too.”

“Well get married already.” He sighed “I think you and mama need to get me a brother to play with.” He giggled “no girls. They’re icky.”

I laughed. “Buddy don’t worry we will when time is right but for now I want to get to know you.” I messed his hair up and took a sip of coffee. He was a smart boy.

“Alright, I’m heading off now.” I grabbed my camera bag and passed my brother who was half asleep still. “Behave.@ I warned, and smiled big for my little boy “mama loves you! Have fun with daddy!” I then kissed Jax and grinned “behave today, try not to swear.” I teased

I grinned. “I’ll try!” I smacked her butt and then looked at jack. “Okay buddy lets get dressed and I’ll take you to my place for a little while.”

“Have fun boys!” I called out and left, going to the wedding and capturing all those moments I thought I wouldn’t ever have. By 6pm, I was tired and eager to get back and drove to his house with fish and chips for dinner. “Hey; miss me?”

I was shocked when she walked in specially with dinner did she forget. “Hey!” I know she saw the disappointment in my face. “You brought dinner? I was going to cook and we were going to have our date?” Or at least I thought.

“Oh my god.” I had forgotten. “I didn’t realise you still wanted to go out, I just assumed you wouldn’t.” Fuck fuck fuck!!! “I’m so sorry!” I felt terrible

I shrugged. “We will make it for tomorrow tonight we will just relax and chill here.” I walked over and kissed her. “Plus jack said he waited to stay here tonight if that’s okay.”

“I’m so sorry” I felt awful. “And yes I would love to spend the night with you here, and I know Jack would too” I smiled, kissing him “I will make it up to you”

I laughed. “No need to make it up to me just go on a date with me and I’ll be a happy man!” I kissed her back and smiled when jack said. “You two kiss like married people! And daddy said he wants to marry you!”

“Oh really? Well daddy needs to buy a big diamond ring remember and get down on one knee.” I winked. Picking him up and spinning him around “You’re getting heavier!”

I smiled. “I’m getting big like my daddy!” Jack said making me smile more. “Yes you are but you need to eat all your dinner to get bigger! Let’s eat before it gets cold.”

“Why don’t we go outside, it’s nice and I’m just wanting to be a bit lazy. Got any beer?” I asked, placing Jack down and picking the bag of food back up. “I want to hear about your day today.”

I smiled and grabbed two beers following them outside. “Well we played cars watched cars and then talked a lot about his birthday and fishing. Then I took him to the pound and we did a little fishing we both napped and that’s about it huh buddy?”

“You napped?” Oh god. “He’s not going to sleep tonight until midnight. I should have mentioned he can’t do day naps.” I grinned groaning as I laughed

I looked at her hoping she was joking but she wasn’t. “Oh crap I thought that was a good thing.” I should have asked. “I’m sorry well now I know.” I had a lot to learn.

“Yeah, If he naps during the day then it’s always a really long night that evening.” I smiled though, rubbing his leg “don’t stress, it’s ok. We can watch a movie on the cough or stargaze.”

I nodded. “Yeah we can do that and maybe next time we can talk and things a little more so I don’t screw up.” I felt bad and I hated I didn’t know really how my son was.

“Well anything you’d like to know, just ask me and I will tell you.” I said finishing my beer. “God that was well needed after today, I am drained from dramatic brides.”

I smiled pulling her to my lap. “I want to know everything!” I kissed her neck. “I’ve mossed you all day today.”

“I missed you a lot today also.” I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck. “Like a lot.”

I smiled. “I like hearing that. When jack goes to bed maybe we can watch a movie together?” I winked not really wanted to watch a movie but more like make out with her.

“Hell yes.” I grinned, definitely wanting to do that. “Does it involve us in your bed with no clothes?”

I laughed. “That wouldn’t be taking it slow now would it.” As much as I wanted that I didn’t think she was truly ready.
