The boy who saved me

First topic message reminder :

lily suffered something tragic. 

Scared and afraid, she struggles to see the light after a night that went terribly wrong. 

Then she see’s him again.. and everything changes. Can he bring her back to whole, and completely heal her.

I smiled, letting his hand go and then standing up from the booth, he looked confused until I slid in next to him, and moved closer. “I’d like that too.” I smiled, resting my head against his shoulder. “Don’t go on anymore dates, unless they’re with me.” I whispered softly, my heart racing. 

Finn and Tom were walking past the burger place, both hungry until they looked in the window and stopped, grinning as they caught their sister all cuddled up. “Wait till dad finds out about this.” And he took a photo of them.

I smiled and put my arm around her. “No more dates only with you!” Our food came and we ate taking and laughing a little she seemed happy and not thinking of what happened which was great. “Does this count as a date?”

I stole one of his fries to try, and shrugged “maybe. I think it could be a date if that’s what you’d like it to be?” I bit the chip, grinning. I liked that when I was with him he didn’t make me think of anything except the right now.

I smirked. “The only way this will be considered a date to me is if we share dessert and I at least get to pay and take you out on a nicer date in two days!” Tomorrow will suck me being with my dad and not her unless she came with me but I don’t think she would want to.

“Share dessert? I think I can manage that.” I smiled, looking up at him. “Two days, well you may have to ask my dad for permission.” I laughed teasing him. “At least we can text each other then.. and when you’re back, we can hang out again.”

I shuttered.  “I will you know, but I don’t think he likes me.  I mean I wouldn’t either if some guy was trying to date our daughter so I understand.”  I smiled.  “Want to watch a movie again tonight?”

I smiled “of course! I’m sorry for falling asleep, you’re very comfortable” I pointed out, grinning. “Anyway, want to go for another walk afterwards?”

Nodding, “I would love to.” I just wanted to spend as much time with her. “So you pick the movie tonight though.” We finished up and then went for another walk. Once back to her she lace we both made snowmen. Hers was so much better than mine. I wouldn’t admit it though which made us laugh.

I grinned taking a photo of him beside his, and he done the same with me. “So, I say we watch Peter rabbit, it looks good?” I asked holding a snowball behind my back and just as I got close I threw it into his chest and laughed squealing, running off behind the snowman I built.

I stood there for a sec not believing what she did.  Then I took off after her.  Her snowman in between us.  “That was t very nice my lily-pad!”  I said with a smirk as she giggled.  I pretended to go one way and then the other catching her as we fell into the snow.  I made sure I took the brute of the hit.  “You’re going to get it for that!”  I smiled and brushed her fallen hair back behind her ear.  “Come on ive kept you out in the cold for too long.”

I felt my cheeks blushing as his fingers touched my skin. “Today was fun, I may just order those dumpster fries again.” I said, standing and brushing the snow off my jeans. “Do you need to go back to your parents are can you come over now?” I asked, wanting him to come over.

Getting up and brushing the snow off. “Nope I’m free to come over now and hang out.” We walked the short distance to her place. Smiling and seeing that her brothers car wasn’t here. I heard her parents inside and didn’t know if I needed to make sure it was okay I was here .

“Come on, I’ll make you one of the best hot chocolates you’ll ever have tried.” I grinned, taking his hand to pull him inside. We took our shoes off, and I walked over into the kitchen, grabbing two mugs for us. “Hope you have a sweet tooth, you may need a dentist check after this.” I grinned even more, ignoring the looks of my parents.

I laughed. “I know how much you love sweets, even if I’m not to crazy about it, it doesn’t matter I’ll always love what you make.” I winked smiling.

I bit my lip, stirring the milk mixture. “Do you have your swim shorts?” I asked, glancing outside and noticing the tub was empty. “We should get in”

I smiled.  “No but I’m sure I can borrow your brothers or I can run over and get mine.” She was so cute getting on the hot tub with her and only her is a dream come true.

“Sounds good. My brother will have a pair for you.” I slid over his drink. “I’m going to change, I’ll be down soon.” I bit my lip, slightly excited. “Don’t let my dad intimidate you either.” I laughed walking off upstairs.

I smiled and watched her walk away . I could feel her father’s eyes on me and I didn’t want to seem like it scared me to death so I walked over and smiled.  “With all do respect mr. cook and Mrs. cook I would really like your permission to take lily out on a date.”

I came running down the stairs with a pair of Finns shorts and into the living room, seeing the three of them talking “umm, here you go. I’ll meet you in the tub!” I smiled, eagerly walking off to the balcony.

I took the shorts and nodded at her father. He hated me and I was worried he wouldn’t let me date her. Changing quick and walking out to wait on her in the hot tub I saw she looked pissed and upset and I hated that.

“I’m sorry about my parents.” To say I was humilated was the least. I was so embarrassed. “I can’t really do a whole lot, when we’re back home I’ll be stuck there so I can’t really do a whole lot.” God he must think I was pathetic.

I smiled and pulled her over to where I was sitting. “Don’t worry lily pad I’ll come over all the time.” I kissed her head lightly. “I understand their reasons think about it if you were in their shoes.”

“I know, I’m just embarrassed because of you, I mean you’re probably thinking god knows what right now and I just want you to know that I’m not like other girls. I’m boring, I don’t like to party and drink.. I’m happy staying in with a book or cooking with mum in the kitchen.”

I smiled. “Good, I like that about you. I don’t want the party type that’s not me either. I like to just hang and chill watching a movie or reading a book is good for me. Although I do like to watch my sports hope you can deal with that.” I pulled her hand in mine. “No stop worrying, I really like you for you.”

“You’re forgetting I have brothers, sports is mandatory In this family. I’m good on a motorbike too” I smiled, squeezing his hand. “Maybe once my month is up, we can spend a weekend camping or go to the beach?”
