The boy who saved me

lily suffered something tragic. 

Scared and afraid, she struggles to see the light after a night that went terribly wrong. 

Then she see’s him again.. and everything changes. Can he bring her back to whole, and completely heal her.

“I think we could make it a tradition, years to come you may change your mind though.” I laughed, leaning back against the headboard “I don’t think I want you wearing clothes around me, you look pretty good without them.”

I laughed. “Mmmm I think we both shouldn’t wear clothes when it’s just us!” I winked it’s been a fun night. I kissed her and opened the boxes to eat. “So what is the plan for tomorrow are we going to help you mum and dad?”

“I think we probably should, they brought a lot of new things so there may be some building you can help with dad and I’ll help mum with unpacking.” I didn’t want to ask, but had to. “When are we starting your treatment? I want to be there with you on the days you have it.”

I sighed. “It’s not going to be pretty babe, but I start in two days. So Monday.” I took a bite. “I will get really sick just so you know.” I hated it I remember how it made me feel and I didn’t want her to see it and feel sorry for me.

“Well then, I will be there to annoy and distract you.” I smiled. I heard icy poles were good so I would bring a packet. “You can help me with school work.”

I smiled. “My school work is so behind baby I don’t know how I’m going to be able to catch up.” I hated it I don’t think I could do it. “I will need to find something as far as work though because my dad is only going to pay for my apartment if I’m in school.”

“What?” I didn’t know this. “Well, I can help you catch up. I can tutor you, with extras if you pay attention.” I smiled, not wanting to ask about his dad paying for the apartment. I thought he had been. “And anyway, when we live together I’ll pay half rent.”

I shook my head. “No baby I can’t have that I need to be able to support you. And yeah our agreement was as long as I was in school I wouldn’t have to pay rent. It’s all in my name but I don’t pay the rent just the bills. But I haven’t been able to really get back into school I mean I have all classes online but staring at the computer for hours isn’t good for my head so it’s like what’s the point now, maybe I should just find a job and work my way up like my dad did.”

“What kind of job would you look at doing?” I asked, hiding my shock over him not wanting to finish school. “And you don’t need to support me, I wouldn’t feel right living here and not helping with bills or anything.” I had my own trust, which I hadn’t mentioned as I got it when I turned 18 and plus my savings from work.

I sighed. “I don’t know really, maybe working at your dads gym as a personal trainer.” I shrugged not sure what I would be good at. I hated that she wanted to help it’s not suppose to be that way. “Baby don’t take this wrong but I want to be able to take care of you finicially and all other ways possible.”

“No offence taken, I get that.. and umm, I will still pay you rent each week tho.” I felt bad knowing he couldn’t afford it. “Maybe we could just move?”

I smiled. “Maybe, I mean it would be better to move closer to your school.” I felt like she was upset with something I said. “Anything you want baby, anywhere you want.”

Well I liked it here but he clearly couldn’t afford it. “We can move. It’s no big deal” I brushed it off. “There might be some flats near campus we can stay in, they usually have them around.”

I smiled. “If that’s what you want then sure, we can look, but can we also look at some homes too?” I didn’t want anither apartment. I wanted to start our life together. I can make it work.

“Umm sure. We can look but we don’t have to worry about buying anything for awhile.” I didn’t want him to worry at all. Maybe I’d talk to dad and see what he thought. “I’d rather go on a holiday with you first.”

I smiled . “Oh baby I already have a holiday for us and it’s already paid for don’t worry.” I kissed her then took another bite. “Baby I do have money you know, I have my trust, I just want to make more for our family, I’d like to be able to give our children a trust you know.”
