Old life... New love..

He lives a sheltered routine life, used to order and schedule. That’s how it’s been since his wife passed. Before she died, they had the same routine and structure. Sex was for pregnancy and straight forward. His children, well mannered and reaching their early teens. 

She’s free spirited and clumsy. Travelling the world one month at a time. Her parents died and left her a trust fund for her to experience life at its best. She knows no schedule, and enjoys living. 

A job takes her to a small town, where she is to take photos of the beauty she finds. Renting a small house next to a large property. She goes over to introduce herself and finds the man less than pleasant.. but it doesn’t bother her and she soon finds herself annoying him for help each day.

How can he let someone new in his life when he had lost his only one. Everything she does, says, wears.. he compares it to her and when they become something more, he finds himself still saying she’s doing things wrongly.. can he let go of his past, and become something more with the future? and when he discovers old diaries in the attic that details a sordid affair with her ex boss, is it too late to see what he could have had.

I coughed.  “How much are you selling them for?”  I’m going to get the number and purchase them all I don’t want her naked body up in someone’s house!

“I don’t know, I think it’s highest bidder.” I looked up “worried someone is going to be jerking off over me..?” I then looked more curious “do you do that?”

I looked at her. “No one will be jerking off to you but me, and well I was alone for 3 years but I really didn’t have the need till Well I met you.”  I said a little embarrassed it that’s what she did to me.

“I like that I make you horny.” I laughed, assuming that’s what he meant. “You make me feel the exact same.”

I laughed.  “Oh, enough to go again while this storm is still going?” I kisse dher hoping she would say yes.  Cause that’s how I felt.

“Definitely, but just slower, I can’t handle fast at the moment.” I blushed a little, pulling him closer. “Damn I can’t get enough of you.”

I smiled.  “Me either.”  I kissed her and slower made love to her or at least that’s how it felt it was.   It wasn’t just sex, not with how I felt and the fake that she was pregnant with our child no it wasn’t just sex.

Something happened, I felt some strange connection between us which scared me. It felt nice, different than the other times. I clung to him afraid to let go, wrapping my arms around him tightly and pulling him deeper. Falling asleep, he was still half inside me when we both dozed off. I woke to see three sets of eyes staring at us. “Greg.” I whispered. “Shit wake up.”

“Daddy! We have school and you’re not meant to leave us alone!! We’re scared of the storm!” Kenzie wailed.

I groaned and then jumped up.  “Oh Kenzie sweetie I thought you kids were sleeping, I’m so sorry next time there is a storm we can all have a sleep over here if it’s okay with Tessa.”  I saw both boys staring at Tessa.  Shit.  

“Daddy why are you and Tessa naked?”  The boy asked.

I sighed.  “We can y’all about that later right now why don’t you kids go to the kitchen I’ll be there in a sec.”

“I feel so bad.” I got up pulling on my panties and a oversized shirt. It was clear he couldn’t have snynore sleepovers again. Sitting on the bed, I sighed quietly. “You take them back home and we can talk about sleeping arrangements in the morning.”

I sighed.  “It is morning, I’ll get them off to school and be back okay.”  I kissed her and walked out finding them in the kitchen back at home.  “Okay listen and listen good, don’t walk in hers or my room without knocking and we were naked because some people sleep that way.”  That’s all I could say.  “If you have questions ask now?”

“But you never made us knock before.” Kenzie pointed out. “We could always come in with you and mommy.” 

The thunder clapped louder outside and the middle son jumped “I don’t like when you’re over there. We couldn’t find you. Kenzie was crying.”

I sighed I can’t believe this was happening.  “Okay okay I won’t go over unless I tell you and if it starts to storm I’ll come right back.”  I didn’t know what to do about this situation with her not wanted to stay here it made things difficult

“No stay here daddy” she sobbed more “I’m scared without you here. I don’t want to go on a plane. Please stay here daddy. Can we stay here. Please.” She gripped his leg crying harder. 

Chad looked at him “she heard Ava telling you about New York and uh, we don’t want to go” he said quietly. “Can you stay with us dad, we don’t want you to go.”

I sighed hating this.  “Why don’t you want to go?”  I asked them all picking up Kenzie and sitting down. “I need to know your reasons for not wanting to go?”

“We just don’t want to go away and walk everywhere and it’ll be boring. She’s working and you’ll be with her the whole time.” She shrugged. “You’ll just care about the baby and not us anymore.”

I sighed.  “That’s not true.  I think it would be a good experience for us all and she was telling me about all these places that she wants to take you kids.”  I hated that they didn’t want to go.  “And I care about each one of you kids the same.  I always will.”  I hated that they thought this way.  “I’ll tell you what how about at dinner tonight we all talk about it together and then we will make a decision together all of us and that includes Tessa Okay?”

“I don’t want to go. She is strange.” Kenzie pulled away “I’ll scream if you make us go.” 

I walked in the doors, to them all sitting around the table quietly “hey, so that rain is insane out there.” I took off my coat and turned the kettle on. “My power cut out, I have to get an electrician out.” 

“We don’t want to go to New York with you.” She said sternly. 

I looked taken aback “oh. Umm ok.”

I looked st her sadly.  “I just asked them why, they don’t want to walk around and they thought I would be with you all the time while you worked.”  I shook my head.  “I told them you had some cool places you wanted to take us, I don’t remember what they were, could you explain them and what it would be like for them?”  I just wanted everyone happy, “I then told them we can all sit down and talk about it at dinner and make a decision together.”

I didn’t see the point, because we were going to be walking around a lot. “Umm if you kids don’t want to go, you don’t have to. I won’t force you, I just thought it would be fun to go and see things that you haven’t before. There these cool museums and-“ 

“Boring.” One groaned. “Can we drive there?” 

“Well no, because traffic is crazy busy so we’d walk but the hotel is in the city.” I wasn’t sure what was going on. “Do you not want to come? I thought you would want to go on a plane.” 

“No. You can’t make us. You’re not our mom.” Kenzie looked at her dad “why are you being like this. I want the old dad back.” She pushed away and crossed her arms. 

“It’s ok. You don’t have to go to.” I didn’t want to upset her more. “You can stay here and I’ll just go work, and then come back.” I didn’t know what else to say. “Umm, I think I will go back to my house and-“ I didn’t know what to say “Umm have a good day at school.” I just walked out again.

I sighed.  “Kenzie that was very rude, all of you what has gotten into you three?  She has been nothing but nice to all of you, you all liked her yesterday? Now what has changed?”  I was so disappointed in them . This wasn’t fair to her.

“Because you left us here alone!” Chad shouted “what if someone broke in! Kenzie woke crying and we couldn’t find you! You’re acting as crazy as her! Now you sleep naked? We know what you were doing! Sex!” He looked angrily “you just do that all the time now!”

Oh god.  I looked at them I was ashamed I was acting like a teenage boy he is right.  “Okay I get it I won’t be going, I’ll let her know once your at school I won’t be staying there with her anymore I’m sorry kids.”  I wasn’t thinking and I felt bad.  “Please just please forgive me.”

It was mid morning and he hadn’t come over, which was strange. I gave up waiting, and once the rain cleared I went over there and seen him on the front porch “hey, been waiting for you.” I smiled sitting down beside him.

I nodded.  “I-I I’m afraid I can’t leave the kids here alone anymore,  I won’t be able to come stay there at nights or go to New York, they are really upset I wasn’t here this morning.”  I hated the look on her face.  I felt as if I was disappointing her.  I put my head in my hands.  “We um we can’t be um doing what we did last night either the kids don’t understand and I don’t know how to tel them.”
