"it better be more than a peck otherwise you're sleeping out here all night." I leant in, my forehead to his as I brought my arms around his waist.

"Yes yes let it all out go ahead lily. Let it out don't let anything burden you" i said calmly taking a sip of my coffee

His calmness only angered me more but I refused to snap and lose it like I wanted. "I have nothing to say to you. In fact please don't speak to me again, and once we get to this damn island stay out of my room."

"Sure. I always end up doing what you want anyway" i sighed and took out my laptop to work a bit.

i had to laugh to myself as I ran my fingers over the bracelet "oh sure daddy, if that's what you tell yourself to sleep peacefully at night."

"I'll just say that you're an ungrateful brat" i put my head phones on so i didn't hear anything else.

The sting of tears burned my eyes as I stood without another word and walked down to the bedroom, closing the door behind and leaning against the door, letting the sob escape my throat. I laid in the bed and cried myself to sleep, wishing I was anywhere but here.

I went to get her before we land. "We're landing buckle up" i said and went to sit and buckle up.

I sleepily walked out after using the bathroom and fixing my makeup, rubbing my belly as I sat pulling the belt around. "Eager to be back to the place where you stayed after walking out on your family?"

I said nothing just looked out of the window "we'll land on the hotel's landing. No need to go to the airport" i said ignoring her statement. I looked at her "i contacted a team to come and have a remake of the hotel, they fixed my island. They are good"

"How much will that cost?" I watched as the plane circled the hotel and began to lower. "Are they going to discuss what they plan to do before everything goes ahead?"

"They'll put it all back as it was before, make publicity, add a few new ideas. We'll meet them there and you can discuss everythinv with them. Don't worry you can pay them."

"Yes daddy." I kept my gaze at the window as I watched us land and stood as soon as we were clear to exit. "I'd like to take a shower before we go anywhere, once we get the room if that's ok by you?"

"Sure" we were walking toward the hotel and i stopped looking at the manager "no golf cart to take us?" He shook his head "hum. You're fired."

"For the lack of golf carts?!"

"No. We'll discuss it later."

"Did you really fire him over golf carts?" My jaw was wide open. "You can't do that.. you'll be sued for wrongful termination.. I'll be sued for it since I own the place."

"No i didn't fire him iver that. I fired him because his job is to keep this place in check, if anything goes wrong he should have called since the beginning. And he didn't. Jason sent me your calls list so we could see if he tried to reach you while you were away and he didn't. Not once. Look at this place! It's a dump!"

I couldn't argue with him there. We walked down the pathway to where our bungalow was and my jaw dropped "there isn't a proper door.. or even windows!" I groaned looking inside and my eyes widened "oh no way.. two single beds. I'm not sharing a tiny room with you."

I looked at him and crossed my arms "how do you plan on getting clients if your bungalows look like that!"

"We didn't have the money for maintenance sur. And this is the only bungalow left. The hotel has been closed for a few weeks"

I turned frowning "weeks? You told me I had one week left before you closed and all quit!" I questioned. "What have you all spent the money on?" Walking inside. I sighed "don't answer that, just tell everyone to be in the lobby in an hour Thankyou."

"Mrs taylor there is no one left except me and one of the luggage boy. We didn't receive any funding mam"

"I saw a couple women walking , who are they?"

"They um, they are frienss sir"

"Get out before i hit you."

"I don't understand." I sat on the bed, which squeaked loudly and looked at him. "What happens now? No one is here. This can't be fixed within a week." Gazing around my eyes widened when I seen the bathroom that was smaller than our pantry. "I have to call Mason."

"Yes. Call him, i'll go around town and see the locals, see if there are new hotels around. We can't stay in this shir hole. The team will be here tonight we'll discuss everything"

"other hotels? Did you not hear the man say there's no one beside him and this is the only place. New hotels? I haven't built anything new on here." I rolled my eyes, unable to connect to phone signal here. I text him instead - the reception isn't working. The island awful, dads flipping out. Give Willow kisses from me. I love you! -

"Yeah and it's clear you've never come to this island except when you came to take me. There are locals here, just like my own island, they have shops restUrants hotels and everything else. You don't own all that, the money they pay as rent goes to charity. You should know that?" I frowned "i'll go look around and come back. The manager must have sold the golf carts and the hotel buses" i groaned walking out.

He was right, I had no idea about anything here. I felt useless. I read masons message and smiled. - Just keep her out of the nappy rash cream, it's awful to clean up. - I sighed and undone my suitcase, changing into something lighter with this heat. I skipped the shower and laid down on the bed closing my eyes.
