Just Business, Maybe.

i smiled "no sex in the house.. i mean it.. don't go into any bedrooms either. everythings off limits to you" i called out. I liked Dallas but i wasn't having that shit in our home.

Dallas groaned. He was about to say something but I decided to speak up. "Emma isn't like his normal woman she has respect special for other people you'll actually like her a lot Ava!" I say and smile at Dallas.

I opened my eyes. "I don't know her.. but she cheated on her husband. I'm not going to have him bringing women over here, especially when you gave him your other place. this is our home, with our son." i wasn't budging on this. "if he wants to hang out, then he can go to his place Austin."

I sighed. "Understandable but I know Emma and I know she wouldn't of done what she did unless she had reasons. I love you and I respect what your saying and will be supportive of it." I turned to Dallas. "You heard her brother." I wish Ava would just meet Emma once then she would see.

Dallas glared "youre kidding me."

"Im pregnant and relaxing, leave me be" I smiled, taking a chip with salsa. I groaned a little when I felt a pain in my lower belly but just rubbed with my hands, soothing myself before Austin noticed

I sighed. "Dallas I'm sorry but I won't go against my beautiful pregnant wife's wishes and if you knew what was good for you you wouldn't go against your sister in law either." I smiled and looked over at Ava.

I smiled at Austin, liked that he backed me up on this "thankyou.." I rubbed my belly again, thinking i needed to get out of the pool and try walk a bit.

I watched her. "You okay?" I say as I really watched her. I swear if Dallas was making her so upset I will beat the shit out of him.

"No.." i winced, my eyes burning with tears "I'm cramping up, and it hurts.." i let out a slight cry as i tried sitting upright. "Austin, something isn't right.." i notice the water beneath me in the pool floaty thing is going red.

I jumped into the water and got her noticing the blood. "Shit oh fuck no!" I waked out holding her. "Hang on baby I'm taking you tit he hospital. "Dallas fuck get Harte now in the car fuck now hurry!" I yelled as he came running he noticed my look and the blood trail and took off he got Harte and put him in his car seat as he jumped into the driver seat as I pulled her in the back with me. "Go damn it!"

It hurt so bad. I closed my eyes, praying nothing was seriously wrong.. but i had a bad feeling and the cramps were getting worse. Crying as i cradled my belly. Once in the doctors, i was rushed off and they took me in for an ultrasound.

The doctor walked out. "I'm looking for Austin, the husband of Ava?" he noticed him, and guestered for him to follow into a quieter room. "please, if you will come with me. your wife is about to go into surgery.."

I looked at him. "Surgery what for? She is pregnant what about the baby please tell she is okay please I can't loose my wife her our baby!"

The doctor took a seat and offered him one "Your wife, is having an Ectopic pregnancy and a normal pregnancy if that makes sense. Twins, and unforunately her case is complicated, as the second fetus has been undetectable. This is rare. Unfortunately, the fetus in the tube isn't viable, and is being removed, the surgery to remove the ectopic will put the rest of the pregnancy at increased risk of miscarriage. We're doing everything we can to save your wife and the viable fetus, but your wife is our main priority.. you need to prepare for the worst case here."

I sat there looking at the ground taking it all in. "You mean to tell me that my wife is at risk and I have already lost one child and may loose another?" I looked at him pissed off. I can't protect her why can't I protect her when she is pregnant. Every time she is something happens. "Twins. There is no way to save them all?" I was lost confused. I felt my eyes water and the silent tears run down my face.

"I sorry but the foetus in the tube, it was never going to make it." he said and left the room. Dallas came in with Harte who was eating a chocolate freddo frog "hey man, what.. Are you.crying.." his smile.faded " Shit, is Ava ok?" he asked starting to worry also.

I looked down and broke down. "She is in surgery she was pregnant with twins but one didn't make it the other might not if the baby does then it will be hard on Ava." I managed to get out and broke down more. "Call mum please I need her."

Dallas called his mum and sat on the floor beside Austin, pulling him in and hugging "im sorry bro.. I'm sure she'll be alright.."

The doctor walked in "your wife is our if surgery. You can see her now."

I jumped up and followed him. I didn't know what to say or ask. As I walked into the room I cried looking at her.

My eyes slowly opened, I was sore and aching "Austin?" I asked holding my hand out "why are you crying for.. I'm ok." my mind then woke up and I tried to sit up in a panic "the baby? She's ok right.." I winced as my stomach hurt, laying back down.

I sat next to her. "They didn't tell you?" Shit I didn't want to have to do this. "Mon cherí you were pregnant with twins and one they could not save I still haven't heard if they were able to save the other yet, I'm so sorry Ava." My head feel to her bed and I began to cry for the child or children I would never met.

I don't know which was worse. Him crying or losing a baby and maybe another. I laid there with silent tears running down my cheeks. "where's harte?" I needed to see him. I had to hold him.

I looked up at here. "He is with Dallas and my mum. I'll go get him but tell the others to wait for a while till we talk to the doctor unless you want them here." I said wiping my eyes and leaning down to kiss her.

As he leant.down, I clung to him and sobbed. Why couldn't I have a safe and good pregnancy. "Im sorry.." I couldn't protect his babies.

"You didn't do anything min cherí there is mother you could have done differently. I should have pretected you three better but I didn't just like with Harte I'm so sorry!" I said and held her as we both cried.

The doctor came in with a machine and we pulled apart, I kept hold of Austin's hand not letting go. I was scared. "is.. Is the baby ok?"

"that's what we're here to find out.. The surgery went well, and we managed to stop the bleeding.." he lifted the covers and her gown, squirting a gel on her tummy. A few moments later, he showed them the monitor and the foetus. "there's a little part of blood around, but that's normal. I suggest you take it extremely easy as you're now in a high percentile for miscarriage." he looked at Austin "no stress or lifting. She mustnt over do it" then looked back glancing between them both "theres also a.risk of abnormalities, there is a test we can do, and a termination is probably the best choice given how this pregnancy has ended up."

"no! I'm not having an abortion." I could never do that.
