Friendly Love

"I know, don't worry my one true love is still out there waiting to be swept of her feet!" I winked at her. "You have to go through the bad to get to the good sometimes."

"I know that, and i already lived through the bad more than once" i washed my plate and sat on the island looking at him "i'm not really wanting to have a boyfriend right now"

"Good, you need to focus and then get you a designing job. Which by the way feel free to decorate this place," I said looking at her. Trying hard not to stare as she was so beautiful. "No girls for me either."

I nodded "i'll go change so we can go job hunting" i smiled and went to my still packed room

I watched her walk away and groaned. It was going to be very hard living with her. I grabbed the door key and my things then sat on the couch and waited for her.

I put on some short shorts, a white tank top and a denim sleevless jacket that matched the short than went out freeing my hair. 

I looked up when she walked out and held in the groan. "Uh you look nice," I say. I always liked her hair out. I stood and turned around, adjusting myself quickly. "Come on, we've got some bars to suss out!" I grinned.

I giggled and took my keys and purse "yes lets go, can we walk or its far?"

"Yeah we can walk. You're better getting a job that's not too far away, something close would be ideal," I said as we got inside the elevator. "There's around six bars on this block."

"Really? I only found one and they were hiring strippers so i dashed put immediately" i said smiling

I laughed "oh yeah you're not doing that!" I said but was completely serious. "There's some bars that don't look like bars, one is very popular. My friend at works uncle owns it so we can check in there and see if he's hiring." I said taking her hand as the doors opened and walking out to the street.

I looked at our hands and looked away ignoring the tingles i got from his touch. Is my crush for him coming back? I pushed that thought away and nodded

A couple minutes and I pulled her to a stop, "so here is one," I said nodding towards the black building. "Did you want me to wait out here or come in with you?" I asked.

"You can come if you want" i smiled and went in

I followed behind her and sat at a table while waiting for her to talk to the staff about a job. I watched her smiling.

i nodded and and went back to Oliver "i have to show them first what i can do, so i'm coming in tonight and i told them i wouldn't dance on the platform" i pointed at the girls dancing. even though the customers weren't allowed to touch i didn't feel comfortable dancing.

I frowned "you're not dancing, do you know what men do to women up there?" I asked and then pointed to a row of curtains, "in there they pay for them and then get to do what they want." I know I sounded a little possessive but no one was going to touch her. I took her by the arm and walked us out. "I don't want to see you dancing on any stage, for any other man."

i frowned and pulled away "calm down Oliver! i'm not dancing, i'm just gonna be at the bar and have 4 days a week, unless they call me in for extra shifts and if they do i can say no. but the more shifts the more money" i smiled and looked back at the bar "i have to be here at 8pm tonight so they can try me"

I sighed in relief "oh well that's good then," I smirked "want to keep walking around anyway?" God I can't believe I had freaked out like that. Way to play it cool.

i smiled and nodded "yeah sure...it will help me get to know the place"

I took her around the block and then towards an ice cream shop "this has the best icecream ever," I smiled leading her in.

I jumped excitedly "i love icecream!!" I giggled and went inside. We grabbed some ice cream and walked out of the shop walking around a bit. "Do you miss home?"

I shrugged, "I miss my parents but I like the city better, there's more here to do. What about you? You miss that girl you hung out with constantly?" I laughed.

"Kylie? We havn't talked since highschool...she stabbed me in the back, literally" i shrugged remembering that day "but yeah i miss my little monkey of a sister and my my parents"

"What did she do?" I asked frowning, "people are horrible, I don't really talk to anyone from back there. I bet your sister misses you though."
