i was walking eliza to school when i remembered that ash hadn't answered any of my calls nor my texts. i sighed i wondered what was going on and i just wished she was okay. we reached the primary school i kissed her cheek and walked toward school.

My body pained me when I tried moving. Last night was another round of the drunken father. I felt movement next to me and seen my little brother Austin sound asleep. I looked at the clock and seen we had five minutes before we had to get up. There was no way I could get back to sleep now. I released a heavy sigh and slowly cimbed out of bed bitting my lip so I wouldn't yell out in pain. I slowly limped towards my ajoining bathroom and ran some hot water in the tub. As I waited for it to fill up I took two apsrins and tried my best to get Austins clothes together. He started sleepin in my room a few weeks agao when my father broke down his door and nearly beat the life out of him. We lived in constant fear every time we staid here.

i tried once again and called her but no answer.it maid me feel uneasy and i started running to try not to think negative things.i reached school and went to sit at my usual spot under a tree waiting my friends when i saw the so called ash's best friend.i called her and asked her about ash but she knew nothing about her either and she tried to flirt with me but i just ignored her,she had done it before but i never said a thing to ash, she was her only friend

After my long soak and quick bath, I got out and wrapped the towel around my bruised body. My muscles were less tense and I made my way into my room. The alarm then blared loudly going unnoticed by a sleeping Austin. I sighed heavly as I hit the off button and shook my little brother. He stirred lightly but didn't wake up. I shook my head and decided to get dress first. The few extra minutes would do him good. The night before had been a complete nightmare as well as all the other nights. It was the same routine over and over again. My dad and my not so smart mother would get into an argument early that day, he'd go out and drink his life awayy, and when he was drunk enough he'd come hom and start yelling about how his life is a living hell and how we make him want to go on a killing spree. My mother would then yell back and tell him not to say that around us, but her efforts were useless. They'd fight, Austin would cry, my dad would try to attack him but I'd get in the way and take it the blow for him, only making my dad madder and he'd hit me a few more times. The blows were lethal yet I've grown immune to them. They were like getting a shot from the doctors. The pain was there but you felt nothing until later. A few weeks ago he was on another drunken rampage threatening to call social services with some dumb lie. My mother threatened to call the cops on him for the hunderth time that day if he didn't stop with the maddness. As a result of that argument my dad grabbed the first thing in his reach and threw it at my mom, thankfully missing, yet sad because it was my phone. So now I've been without a phone for like three weeks. I have enough money saved to where I can buy me a new one but I just didn't have time to. After dressing I sucessfully woke Austin. While he got himself ready I went and made him a quick snack for breakfast and something to eat for lunch just incase he didn't want the school food.

i was plunged in thoughts about ash and our relation ship, my friends always said it wasn't a true relation because i never knew what she was doing or where she was or what she was up to.i mainly ignored them but sometimes the comments wouldn't stop and they would anger me, when i was in such state all i did was just walk away without saying a word because i felt madness within me i felt darkness and knew it could end up in an ugly way.i never watched my temper before i was with ash but she hated violence and hated me when i was mad so i learned to control myself at least when she was around. ash's friend was still sitting next to me she was babbling but i wasn't hearing a word i was just waiting to see if my mysterious girlfriend would show up today.

Austin got dressed and we ate our small breakfast then headed out. We made small talk the whole way there trying to avoid the insident from last night. We got to his school and I walked him to his classroom. I hugged him tight and promised him yet again that we'll find away out of this. I kissed his cheek and watched as his whole face brightened up at the sight of Eliza, Jareds little sister. It seemed like that was his only source of hope in life, just as Jared was mine. I was suddenly overcome by saddness as the lies continued to pour over us. I know it would be a matter of time before the truth came out, and I was afraid for the result of it. I quickly exited the building and headed staright for my school. We still had about ten minutes until first bell. It wouldn't take me long to get there if I take my favorite shortcut. I've missed him soo much.

before the bell rang i got up "excuse me "i said to her while cursing the second i thought about talking to her.i sighed and looked around.this is to much i thought i walked towards the entrance i went to my locker and took the books i needed for the two first periods, that's when i heard a girl talking to ash's friend saying she saw her at the mall yesterday but she had bruises everywhere.i turned nd looked t them feeling anger grow within me

i finally made it to school with only a few minutes to spare. I went by our favorite tree but seen he wasn't there. Sadness soon began to fill me as I headed for the entrence. I walked through the court yard instead of going to the front, it was closer to our lockers. I put on my best smile and greeted many familar faces. I walked into the building and went straight to my locker when I got closer I could see Jared there staring at Anastaisa and Bri. I shook it off and crept up behind him. I put my hands over his eyes blocking his view from my bestfriend. "Guess who?" I said with a wide smile.

when i heard her voice i felt better somehow but i could still feel the anger build up more and more. i lowered her hands and turned to look at her i fixed her eyes "i thought you would never show up" i said while looking at her arms trying to find a bruise or something but i couldn't see any " are you okay?"

I smiled tentivly at him. "Sorry I kept you waiting so long, Austin wanted to be a sloth today and take forever getting ready. But I tried getting here as fast as I could." I felt a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach I knew all to well. It's the same feeling I get whenever I lie to him. I hated lying to Jared but I didn't know how to tell him the truth. his anger scared me and I couldn't take seeing him that way. "Forgive me?" I asked sweetly as I looked at him innociently.

i smiled " how would i able not to when i look at those eyes" i took her hand "its just that i miss you and we don't talk or see each others much now and ...i... " i sighed and didn't know how to finish than i looked away " i don't know if we really are together or not"

My smile vanished as I looked at him with worried eyes. No, this can't be happening. I opened my mouth to speak but the words wouldn't form. I looked away from his eyes and said the only thing I knew was true. "I wish I could tell you everything but it's hard. I do love you and we are together." I then looked back at him with tear filled eyes. "Things just haven't been going to well at home. My phone has been broken for the past couple of weeks. I was hoping you'd come with me after school to get a new one." I know it wasn't everything but it was the best I could do before my fear took over me and fed him a bowl full of lies.

i just nodded saying nothing for a moment and the first bell rang i looked at her we had different classes in the morning " i'll see you after class ash" i kissed her cheek lightly squeezed her hand before turning and walk away. i had a feeling she was hiding something i needed to talk to bri and anastasia, i might do it at lunch time.

I stood there as I watched him walk away. I wanted to tell him, but I just couldn't do it. I finally looked away from his retrieting back and grabbed my books for my morning class and headed down the hall. I erased all pain and worry from my mind and formed what I hoped was a genuine smile upon my face and went to class.

during the whole time i was just trying not to think about what happened but i couldn't i've been a jerk to her and she didn't deserve to be treated like this not by me.i was frowning when someone told me to ease it on my mind i smiled and tried to pay attention

My mind was stuck on what went down this morning. It seemed like we were back to normal but then it seemed like he didn't want to be together anymore. I fought back the tears that began to build and shook the memeory from my mind as I focused on my work. I'll just have to talk to him at lunch, but I still couldn't tell him what was going on.

when class was over at lunch time i went to the cafeteria and waited ash where we sat usually but then bri came and sat next to me setting her arm around me i was telling her to take it off because i knew it would hurt ash, but she wasn't listening to me. i took it off myself and at the same time ash was coming in

I pushed all thoughts of the morning away from my mind as lunch time came. I stood outside the cafeteria and took a deep breath. I then walked in and seen that Bri had her arm around Jared. She looked at me from the corner of her eye and smiled at Jared. I walked over to them quickly praying that this wasn't why he said what he said. "Uh..Hey Babe. Hey Bri." I said a bit nervous. My eyes kept darting back and forth between the two wondering what was really going on. I sat in the seat in front of Jared and watched them.

i moved away from bri and sat next to ash taking her hand, i knew her to well and now she was doubting and maybe thinking i was cheating on her." how were your classes sweetie? any good grade?" i tried to calm her with my thumb doing repetitive movements over her hand

I tore my eyes from Bri's sinsiter grin and looked at Jared. "Classes was boring, but grades are good. I finally pulled my grade up in Physics." I said with a bright smile. Physics haven't been my best friend lately, but with the few extra credit assignments I've done it's turning out okay.

"that's great"i smiled " i told you i could help but you didn't want my help so...but you managed to get it right" i kissed her cheek and snaked my arm around her waist bringing her closer i thought i heard her gasp as if i hurt her i looked at her " did i hurt you?"

My faced felt hot when he kissed me on the cheek. He's so sweet at times. When his ram found it's way to my waist his arm lightly grazed my bruised body. Although the soak in the tub this morning eased the pain, it was still tender at the touch. "Uh, no." I said feeling my stomach began to turn. "Just my body is a bit sore. Austin had me up playing games and giving him piggy back rides." It felt like I was going to be sick.

"oh austin... he's lucky to have you as a sister" i smiled and saw how bri was looking at us "bri was just telling me how much she loves you and loves to sit around you" i said lying but just to mak eher feel loved
