Finishing law school, she was excited to spend more time with her high school sweetheart.. however, she finds a surprise that wasn't the diamond she had been hoping for.. deciding to move out and into her own apartment, vowing never to fall in love again, she wants to just have fun... and then she meets him.

I walked into my dads office without knocking and closed the door. Handing him over three sheets of paper which each had a different apartment on them. I said with a straight face calmly “So I just went to take Luke lunch, since he said he was working home today and he was in bed with Louise. Apparently she does this thing he really likes.”

Mason was working on a contract when willow came in. He eyed the papers she gave him and shook his head knowing lily wouldn't let her live alone. Whe she spoke he set down his papers and looked at her calmly "he does? Well, maybe he'll like what i will do to him too" he got up and hugged her tightly "are you okay baby? He doesn't deserve you, i even wonder how come you lasted this long with that guy"

“I don’t know. I thought he was going to propose.” I sniffled hugging him back. “He’s not worth the time.. they’ve been seeing each other for years now. Guess I was too busy to notice.” I pulled away and glanced at the papers “daddy, I’m moving out whether you agree to it or not. I want to experience single life.”

"You... no you don't want that. You don't want to be alone right niw and i's sure you certainly don't want to try the single life...your mom will never agree to it Willie and you know it. Please don't tell me you me to convince her"

“My boyfriend was cheating on me with my best friend. I’m not asking, I’m telling you to warn mum because this is happening.” I grabbed a tissue from his desk and blew my nose “she can visit every day, it’s not like I can cook and I’ll need to eat still.” I grinned standing up, making my way to the door “come get me before court.”

He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. She was getting more and more stubborn as grew up. He took his phone and called Lily to let her know.


Hunter was finishing up a case in court when his assistant came in and sat behind him. She leaned over and whispered "Taylor law isn't backing off. They didn't take the deal so we'll see them in court in a couple hours."
Hunter grinned "have Mark be ready, we'll win this for sure"

We walked into the court room, it always excites me being here. Seeing the jury on the bench by the wall and the judge at the front. It was my first time being here as a qualified lawyer since graduating law school. Glancing over at the opposing counsel, I wanted to see who was leading this case. “Oh my god.” I half murmured. “What a babe.”

"What? Who?" Mason looked around and gritted his teeth "no willie, don't even think about it." They walked in and took their places with their client.

Hunter looked at Mason grinning. He liked poching his clients and it didn't always work but when it did Mason would go crazy.

“Why is he smiling at you? Ohh is this who you always yell about?” I whispered standing beside him. I glanced back, moving slightly so my dad was no longer blocking him, and caught him staring over. I couldn’t help but bite my lower lip and slightly grin. “Good luck” I mouthed and stood back in place.

Hunter was about to look away when he saw a girl lean over to peak. His gaze dropped to her lips as She bit the lower one and he cleared his throat looking away. He turned to Mark "who is that woman next to Mason?"

Mark looked at them and smiled "oh that's willow taylor, his daughter. Don't mess with her if you want to have a long life"

“Your honour we’d like this case dropped. There is no grounds for what they’re claiming and it’s all based on here say. Mr Black has done nothing but waste our time with this ridiculous suit.” I said smiling over at him, I couldn’t help but gaze. He was the most handsome man I had ever laid eyes on.

Ridiculous case? Your honor their client abused his wife" hunter glared at Willow, he could barely focus "he also abused his ex wife. Now why would we call it waste of time when we have two ..." he cleared his throat trying to compose himself. This had never happened to him before "we have witnesses your honour"

“Which is it? His wife or the ex wife? Where are these witnesses?” I walked out, in my black sky high heels and fitted high waisted skirt and top tucked into it. “There is no proff our client attached these women. This is merely a plot to get a good chunk of his inheritance.” I turned rolling my eyes “And I’m still waiting to see these witnesses? As you mentioned but failed to provide or inform us.”

Now he had enough Hunter took out the paper from his file "maybe if you read the file before coming to court you would have seen the names miss Taylor!" He threw it on their table.

I glared opening up the folder “we ask for a continuance to go over this please?” The judge granted 24 hours. I groaned walking straight up to him as my dad headed out “this wasn’t in our file. So you specifically leave vital information out to try catch us off guard in court. Classy. Is that how you try win all your cases Mr Black?”

I raised an eyebrow and looked at Mark "you left that out?" Mark apologized and left "i'm sorry Miss Taylor, i wasn't the one who sent the file" i winked and smiled "but you do have a smart moith. I wonder who you got that from"

Mason went back inside "willow!"

I glared infuriated with him with no idea why “shut up and bite me.” I spun around when my dads voice started me and smiled big at him “coming.” I said sweetly, walking out quickly

"Huh i will somehow" i whispered to myself watching her ass sway as she left. I gathered my folders and walked put with Mark

“Left it out accidentally my ass” I rolled my eyes annoyed. “I can see why you hate him. He may be the hottest thing I’ve ever laid eyes on but he’s so..” I groaned “there’s no word for him!” I looked at my father “can we grab lunch on the way back and you tell me how you’re going to win this?”

"Seriously Willow? The hottest thing? Baby you stay away from him. I donmt want you talking to him you hear me? He's a playboy and youbdon't need another heartbreak"

“Oh.” Disappointment brought me back to reality. “I don’t want another man like that and I’m definitely not ready for a relationship. Especially with a player.” I refused to feel hurt while at work. “I was thinking, instead of an apartment, there’s that house up for sale down the road from you and mum, i would still be close.”

"We'll discuss this over dinner with your mom. But i was thinking, maybe you could live with nate?"
