Secrets in the Summer.

"no I'm ok. Just ahh." I groaned, getting on all fours and leaning down low, the pain surprisingly not as hurtful this way "can you maybe just rub my lower back this way?" I asked taking deep breaths. "God it feels like labour pains."

"no this helps." the pains had almost gone and my breathing was back to normal. "wow that was painful, remind me of all the bad before I bring up wanting another baby again." I groaned sitting up on the couch and laying back "thankyou."

"No im ok. The pains gone," i assuerd him. "maybe i overdid it with so much walking." Finn began to cry and i looked at him, "he wants his daddy."

"Ok." i yawned, stretching out and watching a bit of the tv that was on. "can you ask Cole not to slam doors, and see what present he has to buy for his friend.." i mumbled, dozing off

Lee and Kirk came back home, through the front doors both grinning from ear to ear after their dirty weekend of reconnection. "Little brother!" he called out, "where are you?"

Kirk smirked. "If i had to replace everything you and lucy screwed on in my place, I'd have to buy a damn new house... but, i'll get you a new one." he grinned and looked at Finn, "unlucky bugger looks like you."

Lee rolled his eyes "don't you mean luckly bugger. anyway, we're here to take the boys back."

"oh boy, good luck with that one, remember.. If you forbid it, he'll want it ever more but he's far too young, tell him to play with some blocks or something."

"you should do that. Maybe he needs some one on one time with you." Kirk agreed "hes probably feeling left out and a fishing trip is always fun."

Kirk rolled his eyes "look, Lucy has us and if she needs we'll stay here, and pains normal.. Everything has to go back into place and that's probably all it was." 

Lee coughed, nodding behind kaiden.

"you want to take a fishing trip?" I asked, yawning after my nap.

I looked at Kirk and Lee, then back to kaiden "we've just had a baby, and your thinking of leaving to go on a trip.." I was also annoyed he kept going on about these pains I had "and I told you, the pains were normal. The midwife warned me about them so stop going on about it." I took Finn from Lee and began walking off "if you want to go, then just go Kaiden. I'm fine here." and went to feed.

"youre not losing me! I'm here and not going anywhere so start treating me like you're happy I'm here and not like I'm about to break. Please stop babying me like my father, you're my husband not my dad, and you just make me feel useless all the time.." I snapped back. "maybe you should take Cole and go for a few days, it might do us both some good."

I felt terrible, I wanted to go after him but was feeding. I sighed and rubbed my eyes. I hated fighting. Maybe time apart would be good for us and Cole really needed some time with him. I could cope on my own, I was sure of it.

I walked into the study, finding him asleep. Sighing, I placed a blanket over him, kissed his forehead and left the room. I checked on all the kids, fed them dinner, cleaned up and went to bed.
