we walked back out and mae ran up to lucy. I smiled and went to finish cooking after the presents and people started to leave I was drained but I wanted to watch how Maddy was warming up to lucy. It was amazing.

"and there's the last one! " I smiled finishing her now glittering pink toe nails. "do you want to do mine?" i offered Maddy and her eyes lit up "I can paint your toes?" i nodded with a smile "of course." I loved this so much, and was happy this baby would be brought into our life soon.

mae was tired and sat with me on the couch watching her mum and Maddy. "Did you have a good birthday mae did you get everything you wanted?" I asked and she liked up at me and then at Lucy. "Yes daddy I did we got mummy back!"

My heart was happy that she thought that. Once my toes were done, I sat up on the couch and snuggled into kaidens side. "I love you." I whispered.

A few weeks later, we had a doctors appointment. I'd been gaining weight and my old clothes began to fit again. I was still afraid to leave the house and the constant cameras trying to get my photo annoyed me. "I'm ready. Are you?" i asked him.

i smiled. "Always." I said as the doctor walked in. She checked everything and was happy to see the weight gain. Now to see the baby. I was excited!

"do you know what it is?" i asked, I should be around 17 weeks by now. The doctor smiled "Lucy, have you experienced any spotting or cramping?" i nodded "yeah early in, but they said it was normal." I was worried but could see the small baby on screen so everything had to be alright.

When Lucy went to clean up, the doctor turned to him "your wife has had a miscarriage, weeks ago, I'm sorry, it sometimes happens but she's fallen pregnant again. She's only seven weeks along. I think it's best if you wait until you're home to break the news to her."

i looked at the doctor. "Umm she she be more careful?" I couldn't believe she lost his baby but she is now pregnant with our baby. I didn't think I would be able to give her anymore it's been so long.

"absolutely no lifting. I'm happy with her weight gain, she should come for another check up in two weeks." she smiled.

I walked in the room with a smile "dint tell me you know what we're having." I laughed "just like the twins."

i gave a small smile. "I don't but let's get home so I can feed you!" I say to her. "Thank you doctor I'll call to schedule okay." I didn't know how I was going to tell her. I was worried the baby was still a part of her.

I sat in the car and reached over to rest my hand against this thigh "i thought that id be showing alot more, do you think it's because of how thin I was?" i asked

i sighed. "I'm not sure." I couldn't say anything. "Let's eat and maybe take a bath then we will talk okay baby?" God what was she going to do. She looked worried. Once we finished eating at home i ran a bath for her
And she walked in looking at me.

"you don't want the baby do you?" It was the only thing that made sense after his acting weird after the appointment. I couldn't think of anything else. Sagging my shoulders, I nodded "it's ok. I understand why."

i sighed. "no it's not that. Baby just relax in the tub and I'll tell you what te doctor told me please." After a little while she got in and I decided to get in with her. I held onto her and took a deep breath. "Baby you are pregnant but not with his child. I guess you lost the baby and well you got pregnant again only it's our baby and your not showing because your only about 7 weeks along." I held her tight in fear of what she said. "I'm sorry you lost your baby."

"I lost a baby and I didn't even know?" i was sad but a wave of relief went through me. "I'm such a bad person for not
being upset. I mean I was always going to love that baby, it was half me." and half him. I didn't say that outloud. "but you and I, we've created another together."

i kissed the side of her head . "Yes but you have to take it easy so we don't lose our child." I said. "And it's not your fault your not a bad person." I kissed her again. "I love you baby."

"I love you too." I relaxed into his arms and tilted my head to the side. "I love you so much." the bathroom door flung open and Ollie and Cole walked in "where's the basketball? I can't find it and we've looked everywhere!"

I giggled when I heard them laughing about dad liking bubble bath "good thing we weren't in the shower" i turned to face him. "do you think the girls will be made that we're having another baby?"

i smiled. "They will be fine and it's a good thing I wasn't inside you when they came in!" And as much as I want to we can't for our baby's sake." Our baby I loved it.

"I'm better than I have been," I smiled kissing his forehead "I'm afraid to have this baby, you know after what happened with the girls." it hadn't really sunk in that id need to gk to the hospital.
