i got dressed and went to find my wife. I saw Kate and cringed. Maybe we need to get her to see someone.

I walked inside and noticed his stiff posture as Kate was sitting on his lap. "ok let's play monopoly" i said unable to sit in silence any longer. Both kids jumped up and laid on the floor setting it up.

i was so thankful she came in at that moment. We played the game and then ate lunch. "So what's on for the rest of the day?"

"we could go play in the snow? There's heaps outside" i leant over the counter looking outside. "have to put warm coats on so we don't get a cold." Ben was already doing his up and racing outside. Kate held hers up "help me please daddy!"

"your old enough to do that yourself!" I said sternly. I wasn't playing these games with her anymore. I stepped closer to Elle. "I wouldn't mind helping you tho!"

"i like that idea." i smiled as Kate glared and stomped off. "i think she needs to see that side of you more," i said keeping my eyes on him as I handed over my jacket.

i helped her in and zipped her up. "I think so too. Something has to happen." I said and kissed her. I grabbed my jacket. "You okay I think I'm going to spend time with Ben."

He needs some dad time and I need to get our daughter back to being herself, I'm ready for the tantrums but she's going to learn she isn't the boss." i pulled down his beanie and leant forwards "then tonight, you and I are locking our bedroom door and having some alone time."

"why can't I play with daddy?" Kate pouted again like a broken record. "because dad and Ben are having boy time and you and I can play in the snow. What do you think of the snowman?" i asked putting the rocks on his head when it exploded into my face "i hate it!" she said pushing the rest down. "Kate," i said grabbing her by the arm to stop her from walking to the boys "i said no, now listen please." she turned back and slapped her cold hand against my cheek hard then took off. I didn't have a choice but to run after her before she got to the road where she headed.

i heard Elle screaming and took off with been chasing after me. "What the hell is going on?" I yelled as I saw a car come around the corner and Kate almost to the street. "Shit!" I yelled as a guy saw it that was closer and jumped out to grab Kate. I hurried down there Elle was crying as the guy held Kate.

"my mummy was going to hit me again!" Kate wailed "she chased me and I got lost trying to find daddy for help!!"

I stared in horror as she said that, "you." little bitch i wanted to say but just looked at Tommy "deal with her, I give up!" i said beyond hurt and went over to Ben to go inside the house. I should never have ran, that wasn't good for the baby at all and now people probably think I abuse my children.

i approached the guy. I shook my head at Kate. "Kate that's the second time you endangered your mother and the baby." No was so upset. "You also put yourself and this man in danger! What is going on and don't you dare say anything about you wanting a baby! Your mother loves you."

Kate stomped het feet and looked away crossing her arms.

the man offerered a smile "kids huh, don't worry about me, Im ok. Seems as though you're going through that stage, I went through it with all four my daughters and the only thing that helped was whisky." he chuckled.

i smiled. "No advice then?" I said watching Kate stomp back up. "Did any of your girls go through a crushing on you phase?"

"Our third did, and it killed my sex life. My wife went out and brought some self help since I couldn't think about anything else for awhile." He sighed looking at the mans daughter "it lasted a couple weeks, once the baby was born it got pretty bad and we couldn't leave her alone with it. I'd suggest being firm and sticking with punishments."

"We brought a place up the road, you can purchase the chalets. if youre staying in the place your wife headed then we're two up from that. Come by for a beer, we just holiday now and then when the kids play up. Seems to settle them being out here." he said and walked back to his car.

"Getting towels and bathers on in her room. She taking me for a swim." Ben said grinning.

"Why?" Kate asked frowning. "It's not dark time yet and im not tired! I want to go swimming too!"

"In here!" I called out, staring at myself in the mirror or more so staring at the small bump that I hadn't noticed until just now. "You want to come swimming with us, Ben kept asking and I felt bad."

i smiled looking at her. "I would but we can't leave Kate. And I told her she is in her room till dinner." I wrapped my arms around her. "The guy gave me some good advice he has 4 girls and his 3rd went through this." I said kissing her neck.

"Mm," I smiled closing my eyes as he kissed me in the spot I loved. "Did he tell you how long it lasts for? or what to do to stop it?" I asked taking his hands and placing them over my stomach to see if he could feel the hard pushed out part.
