The man who rescued her was married and hadn't been able to give his wife a child. So now he could. He took her in and raised her as a normal girl, with no knowledge of her real parents or that she was a princess, just that she's adopted. Then a very strange boy comes to school and says her name before asking it. Then he asks her to come home with him. Upon further knowledge she finds out who she is and she's his betrothed. Her country is slowly following apart. So will she go to the home she never knew? And she learns a secret that her parents didn't know, she is a fea.

I nodded at him. "I wish you could've talked to mine, longer. You would've liked them."

I nodded and sighrd. "your addoptive father was originally from our realm sent to the other world to keep you safe once he new you wrre safe he created the barrier to keep the war from spilling out into that part

"So that's why my brother will be allowed to visit me," I said. I had been questioning that in my head. "Maybe we need a name for this realm, it's just like the one in this book I read that was frighteningly close, but we live longer. As long as people believe in us and remember our name."

"This book I read called our realm the Nevernever."

i nodded and thought about it for a few minutes. " sound good to me. And us elves are all but imortal . Humans live about 60 if theyr lucky and dwarves tend to live about 3 - 6 hundred years." I say as i watch ur expression

"Actually if humans take care of themselves they can live to be more than 100, the oldest person I know is my grandma. She's 89." I said.

"yea but look around us and c what we deal with we dnt have medicin like you have over there we are always using herbs and magic and that doesnt always work nor do we have mechanical stuff like you did and with humans always having wars theyr lucky to even hit 60 specially the younger men they get dragged intonwar almost as soon as their strong enough to raise a sword." I say and sigh softly. "and some of the commoners end up selling their female chiodren tonthe nobles just sonthey can get by." I say as i look at you then look down at the floor

I take his hand. "I understand, they have that even when there isn't a war going on. Our surgeries aren't always guaranteed to work. That heart surgery my dad needed may have been the end of him. Children born without bone marrow will die without a transplant. Brain tumors being removed will kill them sometimes. Children in Afghanistan don't have what I did, and that's not even mentioning the natural disasters we deal with. Without us having magic to help." I said.

"il be honest i dnt no have of what your talkin bout but it seems pretty serious. But from i can NTT ell of them there they live alot longer than we do here. Children for our race is very rare here even tho we have well over a thousand ppl here in thencity and children are consodered the biggest and happyliest timeof the citys life that everyone jumps in tonguide them but the reason y children population s so low is bc of how long we livr." I say as i look up at her and softly squeeze ur hand

I nodded. "I understand," I said.

"thats y we value them so highly and honestly were both young as hell and still considered shildren in the eyes of our ppl. Butthey will accept you as long as you show you are strong and faithful to the ppl and willing to put up one hell of a fight against the enemy even if it means staying behind the scenes. Tho the council will try and control you i will be th ere to help control them and stop them from hurting you in anyway" i say with a small smile.

"If I wanted to I could take someone off the street for council couldn't I?" I looked at him.

"yea but it be a risk. Considering youd be offending alot of noble familys bc thats all they are on the council noble familys.so choose wisely and they have to have a good head on their shoulders." I said as i look at you

"I know, I think Danyelle would be good. She deserves it, but I want to play around. You know I'm hoping I can mess with them, but in ways they can't do a thing about it, not without looking bad." I said.

"il help you any way i can but truly think about eh at your doing as welll or gana do and danyelle would be good but shes 2 aubmissive you need someone whos gana know how to put their foot down when the time comes to do it." I say as i sit down in a chair.

"I know, but there's a way to push her to do it. Sounds bad but lots of people learn by push." I said.

I nodded. "get her ready to withstand alot of the bs shes gana be forced to swallow and deal with." I said with a sigh and look over at drako and lyra

Lyra was doing their version of fighting. The kind appropriate for her age and size. She was on his head chewing on he skin, which was funny and made me giggle. He was trying to shake her off. "Need help drako?"

I laughed and shook my head and drako looks at you like u just asked a stupid question but nods lightly

I smiled and walked over as he lowered his head for me. I gently picked her up and got her off. "Drako is a chew toy, but I'll make you one," I said. "If I can find any kid toys that aren't needed."

"you might have to go with a meat bone bc they dnt like wood and the cloth toys will be devoured almost as soon as you give it to her." i say with a smile and drako shakes his massive head

"Alright that sounds great," I said.
