Coincidence or Not?

Bay was just a human girl, just a normal girl. She went to college and worked as a waitress to pay of her tuition. One day she decided to take a shortcut by the woods to get home. She didn't realize it was a bad decision, not until she found herself face to face with a werewolf. She didn't realize that the wolf had saved her from a killer that was following her.She managed to run away but not before she turned and saw that wolf was no longer there, instead a guy took its place.

Bio: Bay somehow managed to get away from her parents who treated her badly. Now she makes her living by working at a restaurant and goes to college. She always thought her town was safe but she was mistaken, now she looks over her shoulder were ever she goes because of that one night. Every night she wonders if she had imagined it or did she actually see a wolf and that man.

"alright then, I think I'll press my luck with the pasta." He ordered.

"Same please" She said smiling. The waiter left leaving them alone.

"so how long have you worked here?" he asked taking a sip of his drink.

"A year" she said "Its nice, everyones like my family here"

He nodded and took another look around. "I can see that. Everyone is so friendly here."

"Yeah they sure are" I said "And what about yourself, do you work?"

"yeah you can say that." he answered.

"What do you mean?" she asked curious

"I don't actually go in to work, but I get called on different assignments." he explained. "I guess you can say I'm like a body guard for some people." he went on.

"That sounds like a great job" she said "You get to protect people"

He nodded his head a smiled. "yup, keeps me active and fit. And it gives me a good feeling to know I've kept someone else from getting hurt." Like you. his mind whispered.

"That's wonderful" She said smiling "Good to know there is someone looking out for you"

"of course." he said taking a sip of his drink. "so if you ever need protection from the big bad wolf, let me know." he hadn't realized what he said until after he said it and couldn't help but laugh on the inside.

She started to shake, she couldn't help it. It had been haunting her since the day she was attacked.

He noticed her slight change in mood and frowned slightly. "are you okay?" he asked.

"Im fine" She said grateful that the food had arrived just in time to cover her change of mood

As they sat and ate in silence he couldn't help but watch her, she seemed so innocent to the world unaware of the true dangers hidden. "this is really good." he said taking another fork full of pasta.

She ate quietly "I told you it was good food" she said giving him a smile

"I think I found my favorite spot to eat. When is the next time you work?" he asked playfully.

"Glad to hear that" she said smiling "At 6:00pm, I do night shifts, cause of school"

"I think I may have to come and stalk you until I try everything here." he said jokingly eating another forkful.

She couldn't help but laugh "I'll have to keep an eye on you, don't want to be scared to death"

"I'll be a ninja about it, you wont even know." I laughed. "I'll have a disguise every time I come." I joked.

"Oh yeah?" She said smiling "Any hint of what you'll be wearing so I know?" She was starting to enjoy his company, she hoped he would keep his word and visit her everyday.

"I can't tell you that, because then you may try and avoid me." I winked.
