Rayla was at one time in love with Nick. They both were a really good couple, really close. Then it was like someone took that image and ripped it. He became mean and distant and a little controlling. Rayla isn't sure if he noticed this, but she wonders if this may be why he left her. For a long time she was heartbroken, but 5 years later she meets Jack. Now Nick is back and she has decide who she loves.

N: I sighed, she was right. "yeah, well we all gotta start somewhere. But look it was really great seeing you again. We should hang out sometime, you know just as friends." I offered.

R: as I made my way home I couldn't help but think about the guy from the gym. He wouldn't leave my mind. But what if he had a girlfriend, then I'd be making a fool out of myself.

R: I nodded and gave him my phone. "Put your number in and I'll do the same for you," I held out my hand for his phone.

J: I still thought about her, nothing wrong with that.

N: I smiled as I took her phone and gave her mine. I put my number in and handed it back to her.

R: I shook my head trying to get him out of my mind as I took a shower.

R: I handed him the phone back when I finished and stashed mine in my pocket. I looked at the kids giggling as they chased each other around the park. I smiled to myself as I thought about the promise he made once, not caring that he broke it.

J: I started jogging to get home. I wondered if she would be there or if she still needed space.

N: "It was good seeing you, but I have to get going." I said standing after I put my phone away. I gave her one last smile before heading to my house.

R: after my showering just lounged around in my house my thoughts shifted from the guy at the gym to Nick. We weren't really dating just using each other for sexual pleasure. After the day I had I could go for around it now. Maybe it'll keep my mind from the gym guy.

R: I said nothing as he left. I stood up and began walking the long way home. I hadn't mentioned it was two miles back the way I came. Or that it wasn't the greatest. Yeah, my career of being a singer never worked out. Before we broke up I seemed to be going somewhere, and then he left and I found out I wasn't going anywhere. The record dealer rejected me.

J: I got home and found she wasn't there. I texted her. You okay? She replied yeah.

N: I needed to clear my head and I knew just the person to help. I knew I still had feelings for Rayla but I just couldn't get myself to go beyond that point to actually love her the way she deserves to be. I finally made it to my house in twenty minutes, and I text Raven to see if we could hook up tonight. She agreed to it and I took a quick shower before going to her house down the street.

R: I didn't tell him how far I was. I needed the walk to calm my mind from y encounter. I wanted to cry from the emotions he stirred inside me.

R: "So what do I owe this lovely visit?" I asked when I opened the door. He didn't seem himself, like his mind was occupied.

N: I smiled and stepped into her house. "I just missed you, that's all." I said as I pulled her to me and began placing soft kisses on her neck.

R: I continued walking, not even halfway there. I walked for 2 hours before I finally got home.

N: she gave me that shy girl giggle before pulling me to her room. I wanted all thoughts of Rayla out of my head a long with the feelings of seeing her again. I couldn't love her the way she needed to be loved which meant I can't get back with her.

R: I sat at home. Jack had dinner set out and I smiled at him and ate with him. We talked but it was nothing interesting to me.

N: An hour later I was pulling my clothes back on, satisfied with the out come of my visit. "you never fail to give me what I want." I said with a smile and kissed her lips. We both had this silent agreement that neither of us would get attached to one another. For me it was easier that way seeing as how I was incapable of loving anyone properly.

R: I sat on the back porch quietly. Jack didn't bother me back here, but he should know better by now. I've collapsed here before because I had gotten so depressed I cut myself too much. Now I just ran my finger along my scars, just enough to feel a little pain.

N: I left Ravens house and went to mine. I showered and ordered take out as I relaxed in the living room. Would I ever be able to truly love someone the way they deserve?

R: I lit up again, my habits were worse than when he met me. I had an entire pack each day, in fact this was my last one. I knew I should slow down before the cancer catches me, but I didn't care.

As I sat there and ate m food thoughts of Rayla entered my mind and I couldn't shake them this time.

I couldn't not think about Nick. I decided to try and just think about how he looked. Sad. That's how, when I told him we weren't right for each other.

I was happy that she found someone else that could love her properly, though I was a bit jealous. She was supposed to be with me, but I blew my chance. She's right we weren't right for each other.

I looked at my phone. I regretted telling him that, I wanted to take it back, but even if I did I couldn't just leave Jack. He's the one who was there to get me off the ground when he left me. I sighed and went inside. I took a shower and then laid down.

I couldn't take it, I pulled my pho e out and decided to text her. "hi."

My phone rang and I looked at it. Hi. I said. I normally added something cute but not anymore. I wasn't able to find the cute button on my phone anymore.

I was surprised to see her reply. want to hang out some time?
