The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

I smiled and had fun.

Everyone continued dancing or ate, while the rest of us enjoyed the night. Eventually the kids started getting tired, which was our que to wind down and relax.

Lily fell asleep a little after. I took her upstairs to her room and put her in bed.

Everyone sat around talking, enjoying the night and finally having Kieva home. Soon everyone began leaving around 10 that night.

I said goodbye to everyone as they left then shut the door when they were gone.

"tired?" I asked as I pulled her into my arms.

I smiled and looked at him. "A little," I said and leaned my head against him.

"well now you can relax in a more comfortable bed tonight." I said and kissed the top of her head. "go get changed and relax, I'll clean up down here."

"Okay," I said and went upstairs.

As she went up stairs I began straightening up the living room and dinning room. Throwing away trash and washing dishes.

I took my clothes and went to shower.

I made sure everything was cleaned and straightened before heading upstairs. I went and checked on Lily. I grabbed her pajamas and did my best to change her clothes without waking her up. Surprisingly I suffered and laid her back down in bed with her Teddy bear.

I got out as he was coming upstairs. I got dressed and walked out of the bathroom as he walked out of Lily's room.

"feeling better?" I asked going into the room.

"Yeah, especially since I'm home," I said.

"if you're comfortable sleeping a lone, I can take the guest room and you sleep in here." I said as I began getting my clothes together for a shower.

"No, I want you in here," I said.

"you sure?" I asked looking over at her.

"Yeah, I could probably sleep fine without you, but I like it better when I have someone there. Even if they're only 3 or 4, like Lily. But I wouldn't want her being the one there if I have nightmares about those people....." I said.

"I understand." I said with a nod. "well I'm going to take a quick shower and I'll be back." I gave her a kiss on forehead before heading for the bathroom.

"Okay," I smiled and watched him go.

Once I was in the bathroom I turned the shower on and took my clothes off before stepping inside.

I looked around the room then sat on the bed. I turned on the TV after I had put in a movie I had found laying around the room.

I took a nice warm shower and then got out. I dried off and put my clothes on before going back into the room.

I sat watching it quietly.
