The Years of Love *closed*

He and I were in love. Nothing could change it, or so we thought. We dated for two years before the incident. That night it happened I was supposed to meet him at a restuarant for dinner. He had big plans for our future that night. Two years it had been since I asked him out, and 4 since we met. He was planning to propose to me. But he waited at the restaurant for awhile, after some time he expected the call that I would relay to indicate why I was late.

An hour passed and yet I had not called. He calls me, but surprisingly I don't answer. This is when my captors had taken me, and I'm sure I heard the phone ring multiple times with his desperate attempts to locate me. I could not answer to call for help. The first time I didn't pick up he has a sneaking suspicion of what had happened. I never just didn't answer. That's also taking into account that I'm showering or held up at work.

It's been two years since then, and he and I had not seen each other. When he heard that I had been found, he was delighted. Overjoyed, in fact. He thought I would appear weak, bloody, beaten. Anything, even with some mental truama. But what he got was so much worse than he or even I could ever fathom. For what these people had done for those two years to me, even my family could not predict the reaction I had the moment he walked in the room. No one could've thought I was capable of it, especially not to him.

"let's go." I said pulling her towards the store.

I smiled, "okay." I went walking with him

We got inside and I followed her around as she looked at a few things.

I looked at their new items. Anything I'd really wanted was gone.

"see something you'd like?" I asked after awhile.

"Um, that purple dress."

We went over to the dress and she found her size. "anything else?" I asked.

"I'm good, thanks," I said.

"then let's pay for it." I smiled at her and we went to the counter and I paid for her dress. She grabbed her bag and we walked out. "any other place you'd like to look at?" I asked her.

I looked around and pointed to another shop.

We walked inside and she looked around. I bought her a few things that she wanted and went into another store. There we ran into her brother who took over the buying process. We walked around for a while until we decided to head to the food court. I got a call from my cousin saying she was bribing Lily and I told her where we were.

I was really nervous because people stared everywhere I went. I just wanted to curl up in a ball and hide.

"are you okay?" I asked her as I seen she was getting nervous.

"Everyone keeps staring at me."

"thats what they do, try to ignore them." I told her.

"Well its hard when conversations stop when they see me."

"I guess they're trying to see if you're okay. I mean news spread fast about your disappearance." I told her.

I nodded. "But it's weird," I said.

"you'll get used to it after a while." I told her. "want anything to eat?" I asked her once we were inside the food court.

I nodded and went to the place I wanted to eat from.

We ordered our food and then found a table for everyone to sit at and waited til they got their food. When we sat down I got a call from my cousin asking where we were and I let her know. Minutes later she came over with Lily and gave Keiva a big smile and said hey.

I smiled back but she seemed hesitant to give Lily to us. I took Lily while he got the food.

"well I have to get going, call me when you're ready for me to pick her up or you can drop her off." she said and waved before leaving. After she left I grabed our food just in time to see her parents coming wit food oftheir own.

We all found a seat and I grabbed a chair for Lily.

"so you ink you can do this more often?" I asked as I passed her her food.
