" what is what you like to do ?" i asked cocking my head to the side waiting for her to answer

"I like environmental stuff. Plants are my thing," I said.

i kinda chuckle then realize she was serious "sorry i thought you where just joking "

"No, I love it. And if I become a mom I can do what I love at home while he works." I said as my mom went to get him a drink just out of habit.

"You want to be a stay at home mom ? I don't hear much I that anymore isn't that a bit .. Old fashioned ?" I asked curiously

"Well, I don't want to work then lives away. They may need me or I can work at home while you know." I said.

I nod "that's actually pretty cool that you would do something like tht for them "

"Of course. Family is a big deal here. If you really want to be a family you make sacrifices." I said.

i smile " if i had to work till i die to make my family happy i would "

"Yeah," I smiled at him. "Sounds good."

i smile and move a bit closer to her for some reason feeling over protective of her but scared of the others

My brother leaves us alone and my dad does too. Mom comes back with drinks for both of us but doesn't hover. It's been so long since they've interacted with humans at home they were nervous around him. "Sorry, shy family."

"no offence but they seam .... diffent then most familys " i say not knowing how to discribe them but i knew something wasnt normal and i am determined to find out what it is

"Well yeah. We are different. In a lot of ways." I said as the sounds of little feet and laughter come from the hall way. Then four little kids come in. One on fire, natural talent. One shifted into an animal. One went invisible upon seeing him and the other was freezing things. And as if things couldn't be any worse Brad stood in the door way levitating his book. I sighed as I realized we weren't covering this up.

i watched all this happen in a run i yelled when a kid ran past on fire " ARE YOU GUYS FUCKING MAD YOUR KIDS ON FIRE AND YOUR ACTING LIKE ITS FUCKING NORMAL " I yell getting really pissed that these little kids are unsafe with a house full of so called aadults i look at my phone acting like i got a txt " hey sorry but i have.. to go do some stuff for my parnts so i .. will see you around " i say walking out of the house oh god now how am i going to avoid this freek i know shes hot and i really like her but that .. that was retarded
