“We haven’t had one since colt died, I thought that maybe it’s time for you to have a furry friend again.” I let him go, and he eagerly ran over his new daddy. “Happy birthday Tanner,” I just loved seeing him smile and happy.

I sighed. I couldn’t believe it. “What’s wrong with investigating him?” I wanted to protect my baby and my family

“Fine do it” I sighed, and looked at him. “Just remember, the heart wants what the heart wants. He may be a terrible person, but she may be madly in love and whatever you say won’t change her mind.”

I groaned. “We have to try I don’t want her picking some guy like your-“ shit I need to shut my mouth. “We can’t let her pick a guy who won’t treat her right.

“Like my ex husband?” I finished what he was going to say. “What day do you need to go in for work?” I wanted to change the subject before it turned us against each other

I sighed. “I’m not sure I know they have been handling it and I know what your doing.” I came up behind her. I kissed her cheek. “I love you for it.” She was so smart and I just wanted to hold her. “How you feeling?”

“I feel good.” I tilted my neck, a soft moan as he kissed and I backed against him, pressing my ass into his groin. “Mmm I love your arms around me.”

“Yeah and I love when you push up against me but the doctor said no.” I pouted and groaned knowing I needed to stop. “God your killing me.”

“But I’m horny.” I groaned with a pout, and ground against him again before pulling away. “Since when do you listen to anyone?”

I sighed. “Since we lost one baby and our other is fighting to live and meet us.” I kissed her “trust me I want you so fucking bad and even if I don’t like the fucker for saying what he did he did have a way with his words”

“You’re right but this is going to suck.” I groaned, going back to cutting up the vegetables. “I won’t say no to a foot rub tonight though,” I smiled.

I chuckled. “And I won’t say no to touching any part of you!” I called back as Tom came around and made gagging noise. I figured while char was out of eat range I would ask. “What’s this tattooed guy lily has been gagging around with like?”

“Oh yeah, he’s alright. Bit of a arrogant dick at times but she’s pretty keen on him. Is a plasterer, loves to party. Why do you ask?” He smirked “going to get the boxing gloves back out and go a few rounds?”

I groaned. “How old is he? Because the phone of him wrapping his arms around lily and with what he said I would love to show him what a man is like but your mum said I have to be nice.” I hated it.

He laughed “I don’t know, probably older. He lives with housemates and I think he’s got a kid or something.” He shrugged “I’m sure you’re already having him investigated and mum just likes to keep the peace anyway.. just find out and don’t tell her unless there’s something bad.”

I shook my head.  “I like to tell her everything and when you find your other half you will learn quickly that it’s best to share with them.”  I looked back.  “A kid really?” I needed to know more and more fast with how lily and are fighting.

“Dad I’m not getting involved. If you want to know, ask her yourself.” He groaned with a grin “I’m not snitching on her, she packs a hard punch.”

“Tanner leave it.” I sighed, “you’ll only make things worse sweetheart.”

I sighed. “I just want to protect her.” What is so wrong with that and damming when did our kids get so grown and not want to snitch on each other. “Fine for now but I still want to know who this grown ass kid is!”

“Maybe I should invite him for dinner.” I teased “then you could find all you want about him.” With an eye roll, I put the tray in the oven and set the timer “Or maybe just forget about it for now.”

I shook my head. “To soon for dinner and I don’t know if I can this is our baby girl who seems to be with a grown man who may or may not have a kid! Am I the only one worried?” I was freaking out. Taking a deep breath I looked at char. “Sorry I’m just I don’t know this is all new you know.”

“Your sons date girls, have them stay and you say nothing. I understand why you’re freaking out but I mean, he’s not that bad looking. He’s got tattoos, and has a nice smile, she has a good sense of character judging.” I thought maybe if I defended her things would be a bit better for them

“A kid char? What if he knocks lily up and ditches her?” Shaking my head. “With our boys I know they will do right if they stupidly knock up a girl and their girlfriends don’t have kids.” I pulled char to me. “But thank you for trying to help me see that our daughter knows what she is doing we have raised her just like our sons and I should give her the same benefit of the doubt as I do our boys.”

“Good because our daughter is smart and yes the party wasn’t her brightest idea but if we push too hard she will push back and I don’t want her taking off and moving in with this guy when she turns 18.. I don’t want that to happen, and if he’s a wanker then you have my permission to step in and throw his ass to the curb.”

I smirked.  “God woman I love you!” I kissed her and then groaned.  “I’ll behave for now for you, but one little mistake from him and it’s on.”

“Haha oh I’m sure it will be.” I grinned at him, and rolled my eyes “at least this way she feels like we’re giving him a shot, but just make sure he doesn’t come back.”

I grinned and kissed her harder. “Oh I love how you think.” I pulled her closer. “You know what sounds good right now?” I kissed her neck. “How about a bath, you and me single time and well you know.”
