druid adventure

2 young druids that live in an encampment a achool of.sorts for those that wish 2 live and breath and dwell in nature come 2 such camps 2 become the masters of nature and natural balance. These 2 druids have come very.close 2 been set on their firsr mission as full druids. But before than can a bad thing happens whioe they are out doing chores for their respected teachers.

"I would like it if you train me better just as precaution. Thanks for offering." He was right its gotten even darker to where I can't see a thing. I started to walk closer to him. "Sorry I can't see anything.

"Its fine." I say softly in reasurance "and yourwelcome but i will warn u my training isnt gana be easy. But its gana have 2 be slightly faster paced than i would like it to be untill we get 2 mithral hall. Bc who knows what we will find out there and in here. gueyn fall back abit just incase." I say as i enhance my natural night and infrared vision. "the next five steps stay against the wall right behind me another trap but hidden as a pressure plate."

I nodded my head and did what he said. "So when do we start?"

I would start 2 night but i dnt have any spells 2 give u the same sight i have. And i dnt want u 2 get hurt from not been able 2 c....."my voice drifts off as i start thinking in another direction of training. "we could do sum training incase u run up against my kind and our natural ability 2 create a big black mass. Basically smoke but intensified by say 100 times its darkness. And thier might be a wY 2 train you with a sword as well but it requires an old trick of deception of mine."

"Well whatever you think we should do then we will. I will try just about anything right now to make a situation easier." I gave him a small smile.

I smile back forgeting that you cant c me. "the trick also.nativ to my race its called.fairie fire it creates a violat colard fire around the intended target alloing me 2 attack while.they are distracted bc they rele do.think they are on fire. Tho its quite hilarious 2 watch.them flail around trying 2 put the fairie fire out." I laugh and smile again. "but i will teach u how 2fight in complete darkness like it is here for you as well as teach ypu how 2 take anything down no matter how big the creature. Even without a mystical panther at your side but been a druid allows you 2 tap into a creatures mind and turn them 2 your will. wich also.means you can ask an animal whether it wants 2 come with you or not as your friend and faithful fighting xompanion."

"first things first you have 2 master all 5 out of the 6 senses. Touch taste hearing your danger sense and i.keep forgeting the last one. But the dangersense is the most inportant in a fight. That and your hearing and sense of smell. Tell me how far do you think gueyn is from our position right now just by what you can sense from your hearing and your sense of smell" i ask as i start your lessons in training your senses.

I thought about and I had no clue. I tried to use my senses but not sure on how really so I went with my gut " I would say he is about 10 feet from us."

"close ur about 2 feet off. Shes 12 feet infront of us." We both hear loud clank n gears start turning behind the walls n all of a sudden gueyn cries out in pain. "gueynhwyvar!" I scream as i start 2 move towards her but remember u next 2 me n yell as loudly as i can so she canear my command. GUEYN GO HOME!!" N a fine black mist corms out from under the slab of roof that came down ontop of her n i feel the familiar weight of her statue in my belt pouch.

"Will she be ok?" I was worried for gueyn and for drizzts. If anything happened to her he would be devastated.

In a couple days shel be fully healed as long as shes in her plane of excistance. I could hear her breathing and the black mist that she became was a good sign meaning shes still alive. Shes survived alot worse at the hands of giants and orcs. Feel.for the wall next 2 your left and stay there pls. Il go check and c if it was a onetime trap."

"No, you can't do that. What if it's not and you get hurt too.!"

" i have an idea that im toying with.if i can find the activation stone that triggered it id back up 2 you and activate it again with an arrow. Bc a drawn arrow has just as much wait behind its movement and momentum that itwould trigfer the.trap again." I say calmly. "ive used this trick befor. And has worked everytime so far."

I looked his way and shook my head. I didn't like this even if he has tried it over a million times and it worked. But I can't stop him.

"kat its.either this.or we go back. I no you dnt want me 2 get hurt but i promise il be fine." I gently squeeze ur arm in Reasurance "besides its best 2 c how far this traps setup.goes so we dnt accidently trigger it again if it is still.active."

"Ok we will do it your way but if something goes wrong and we are still able to have a next time we do it my way! Got it?"

I nod " i understand." I say and start.moving foward.wjthout kat and find.2 more.traps on either side of the one that was triggered. And fall back 2 where u are at. "ok i found 2 more stone traps on either side." As i draw terenthial my bow owned by my long.lost love. Who.died so many years ago. And draw the arrow taught against the bow string and fire the first arrow first at one side then the other. And wince as i notice how the trap was designed. "that would not have been a fun way 2 die. But very clever indead." I say 2 kat. As i fire 'third arrow at.the.one gueyn stepped on. 2 make.sure but nothing happens.

"I would have to agree, you are one lucky son of gun, you know that?" Oh my, that was amazing tho ill give him that.

I smiled at him. "Alright, lets go!" I walked with him and was wondering when this tunnel will end, I was wanting to see daylight.

I smile at kats enthusiasm and ask her "how far do you think i am judgen just from the.sound of my voice?" I ask as i stand next 2 her about a foot away from her

"Your close, I would say about 8 to 9 feet away." I waited a second before saying. " just playing your about a foot away from me!" I smiled.

I smile and move almost behind you same distance. Towards your right. "very good. Can u pinpoint my general direction without turning?"

Hmm I know he went behind me but not directly. "I'm going to say your behind me but to the right a little and about a foot away." I sighed. " it's easier when your close."
