jason, a young boy who doesn't know he is a wolf, his genes haven't changed or manifested yet. he is in love with Ashliey, a very mysterious girl.

I kissed her back as softly " i'll be here after class" i kissed her one more time and left

I smiled and walked into my classroom, of course all eyes were on me but I didnt say anything to anyone. I sat in my seat and did all my work. I felt like today was the beginning of a new life for me, and it felt great.

when class was over i went to wait her outside and heard a guy talking about her and bri and saying awful things about them. i said nothing just for ashe's sake

When class was over I gathered all my books and walked out the door. I smiled when I seen James but it slowly fade when I seen he seemed a bit upset. "what's wrong baby?"

I smiled at her " nothing sweetie" he took her hand and walked with her to their next class

The day seemed to go by pretty smoothly. Though I could tell there was something bothering him, I just decided to ignore it. Lunch was right after this class and I was hungry.

As we sat at our table one of the guys i heard earlier came and sat next to ash and at that moment i could rip out his throat!

When we sat down I was about to ask him again what was wrong with him until some guy sat next to me. If I didn't know before I knew now. I could feel the tension radiating off James. I squeezed his hand willing him to calm down before he lost his temper. That was something no one would want to see.

i looked at her and gave her a reassuring smile "i'm fine "i whispered.
i looked at him "excuse us but this place is taken" i told him glaring

The guy looked over at Jason and laughed at him not moving. He turned his attention to me and began eyeing me up and down.

i got on my feet and punched him "i said this place is taken and stop eyeing her!"

I didn't know what to do. I mean the guy was asking for it. I stood up from my seat and backed away. My mind was telling me to get him under control but my mouth wouldn't move. I saw the guy get up and swing at Jason. This was bad really bad.

i did all i could not to shift and rip his throat off, i pushed him to the wall and pinned him against it he couldn't move it was obvious i was stronger than he is "if you ever dare to touch or look at her you'll regret it you whole life and yes its a threat!" i hit him one more time before throwing him on the floor. i took her hand and walked out i needed to calm myself

It was hard trying to keep up with him because he was walking so fast. "Jason please slow down." I pleaded with him. I checked the time and seen we only had about twenty minutes before our next class was set to start. "Jason." I said again a little more sternly.

I stopped and looked at her " i'm sorry i just need to get out of here and calm down"

I nodded understanding. "Come with me." I led him out the side door and through the path. I was sure nothing else would calm him better than shifting and taking a run. We cut through the trees and continued down to the stream. I turned and looked at him. "Shift."

"baby" i smiled because she knew exactly what i needed " i can't shift, not here. i don't have clothes and i still haven't mastered my skills, its okay i'll be fine" i pulled her to me and kissed her her deeply

I wrapped my arms around his neck and stepped closer to him as I kissed him back. I was glad he was a lot calmer now, seeing him that angry really scared me.

" i'm sorry i lost my temper i hate it when you see me like that"

"Seeing you that angry always scares me." I said a bit sadly. I really thought you were going to rip his throat out!"

" i... I was but you were there in the back of my mind telling me not to and telling me to calm down, your voice helped me"

I stepped closer to him and touched his face lightly. "Well I'm glad you didn't. That wouldn't have been very good at all."

"you're the one that keeps me sane"

I smiled bright and kissed his lips.

I heard the bell i took her hand and walked toward the school smiling " you feeling okay?"
