jason, a young boy who doesn't know he is a wolf, his genes haven't changed or manifested yet. he is in love with Ashliey, a very mysterious girl.

I sat there and watched the two converse back and forth. The kids came rushing down the steps both exceited about their day at school. I stood from the table and kissed her cheek before grabbing my bag.

i took my keys and bag kissed the kids as we walked out the door

We walked to the car and strapped the kids in before climbing in ourselves.

i drove the kids first and than drove to school, it was a quiet drive "you okay babe?"

I looked over at jared and gave him a sweet smile. "yeah i'm okay. just thinking."

"about what?" i looked at her concerned

I shruged. "Just how much life as changed in the past few months."

"it will get even better i promise"

I looked his way and gave him a small smile. "Promise?" I asked softly.

I smiled "i promise" i stroke her cheek and leaned to kiss her begore getting out of the car

I kissed him back and climbed out after him. I grabbed my book bag from the back seat and took his hand in mine. We walked into the school and it seemed like everyone was staring at us.

I frowned "why are they staring now?"

I shrugged my shoulders and kept walking. I slid my shades down over my face and ignored them all. We stopped by my locker and I put my book bag inside and grabbed the things I would need for class.

i took my books and walked her to class, i kissed her cheek and held her gaze for a moment "are you okay?"

I nodded my head and gave him a smile. "Yeah I'm okay."

"i'll meet you here qfter class" i gave her a quick kiss and went to class but i knew she wasn't okay i just didn't want to push it

I kissed his lips and headed for my first class of the day. Just as I got to the door I was greated with a wierd smile from Brianna. "Can I help you?" I asked her feeling a little annoyed. Lately I've kept my distance from her. Something just seemed so off about her and anastasia. I mean I already knew that Bri had a thing for Jared I just ignored it because she was my only friend, so I thought. "So you and lover boy seem to be doing okay." "Yeah, so?" I asked pushing past her and walking into the room. She continued to try and talk to me, only fishing for imformation. Things I wasn't sure of what. "So is it true that you're living with him?" And there it was. Information to spred more rumors. "What's it to you?" I asked staring her down. "No reason just people talk you know?" I nodded my head focused on the teacher. "Well tell people they can mind their own business." With that I ignored her and started on my work.

After class i was heading to her class when josh stopped me telling me about the things that were spreading around about ash and i. I shrugged and walked with him. We waited her to come out " you okay?" i asked worriedly as soon as i saw her

I smiled at him and wrapped my arm around his waist. "Yeah I'm okay. Hey Josh." I waved at his friend. As we walked down the hall I spotted Bri talking to some guy then pointed at me. I rolled my eyes and leaned into Jason.

Jason sighed " hey bri! I didn't know that refusing you would turn you you into a total bitch and spread rumors about my girl who was supposed to be your best friend!" he snapped knowing he had hit a nerve

I just stood there not saying a word. Though he didn't raise his voice, you could still hear the rage in his voice. A few students turned to see the brewing argument. Bri stepped away from the guy as she tossed her long black hair over her shoulder. "Oh please I did the freak a favor. Now everyone knows who she is." She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at me. I stood there unaffected by her words.

"the only freak here is you bri! Going after your friend's boyfriend even though you know how much he loves her is pretty messed up." he looked around and saw many students gathered " and yes she lives with me. Not that we owe anyone here an explanation but her mom is away fir a while so my mom offered to tale care of her brother and ash is my fiance now so there's nothing wrong in living together" he turned back to bri " lets face it, she has all you want so you dispise her, she is everything you wish you could be. And guess what? You can't! So stop trying to ruin her reputation it won't work"

I could see the shock in her eyes but she tried her best to cover it up. "Bri just give it a rest you lose, I win. GAME OVER!" I grabbed Jason's hand and walked away from her before she could find a snappy come back, one I'm quite sure wouldn't be very effective. A few students began laughing at Bri and how badly she just got embarrassed. Knowing what I do now just lifted a huge weight off my shoulders and I can no longer walk around hiding. It is what it is and that's how it's going to be.

I kissed her hand " next time i'll let you beat her up" i said playfully

I laughed. "Sounds good to me." We stopped in front of my next class and I kissed his lips softly.
